A little bit too much hand usage on the spins could also be the cause of him stepping out and switching turn legs. Also, remember to complete your rollback before starting to run.
She could be using her hindquarters a bit more. But great job at sidepassing! have you tried to have her side pass the L? Its a great excerise. (On my opinion)
