@IEatHarlots Listen to their emphasis on tunes and interesting synthesiser stuff. They don't focus on a drum beat or anything like that, and from what you're saying in most of your posts, I think you're criticising me for not being more like the average drum and bass type musician. I'd rather listen to Pet Shop Boys- or even Boten Anna - over most of the repetitive, samey stuff out there. Lady Gaga's pretty good too.

@3kliksphilip I don't really listen to a lot of dnb. I'm mostly into house music (mostly, not exclusively) Basshunter puts a lot of emphasis on his kick drums. He was my favorite artist around 2 years ago. In most of his songs, all the instruments are based around the kick drum. The kick plays on every beat, the bass and hi hat play on the off beats which further emphasizes the kick. And the melody is slightly side chained which gives it more of a pumping feel but still based around the kick wit
