@Anna1Kyohyama try: 8th commandment, pictureing the past, kingdom for a heart, weballergy, false news travel fast, black sheep, san sebastian, wolf & raven, the cave, silver tongue, victoria's secret and basically any other song :) I can strongly recommend the first 3 albums (ecliptica, silence, winterhearts guild) and the other ones are good, too. I personally just don't like unia that much... anyway, I know your post is from 2 months ago, but maybe this helps.

@mAJORgAMER1 I would say that this song really takes a lot of their best roots. But if I had to pick their best album, it's by far Reckoning Night. If not that, then try Ecliptica, as that's their first album with the most intense songs.

However I think Tommy is good for POWER metal (the song above is the example); for the other songs of the album I found drum a little bit "anonymous"...

I do like SA, but the problem with this band (for me, not saying it's the universal truth or anything!) is that the sound stays the same. It's okay to be able to hear that Sonata is still Sonata, but the songs have been bland after Winterheart's Guild. "White pearl, black oceans" was a masterpiece, though.

I've heard all the songs on this album except No Dream Can Heal A Broken Heart and In My Eyes You're A Giant. Something seems to have snapped in Tony's brain, because you can tell he's angry/depressed. This is Sonata's Train of Thought, and it will definitely show who actually likes the band rather than continuing a tried and true method. Sonata has gone prog. AND I FREAKIN' LOVE IT!
