I remember playing this game when I was 7-8, I beat it so many times, it decided to get harder and add extra enemies. Awesome game. The LP is great too, I just watched another LP of this that was Tool-assisted, and it just took away from the experience completely. I ditched it halfway through and came here.

you make a serious effort to get as many coins as possible, so just wondering why you didnt go down that first tunnel in 1-1 and get all the free coins? several other areas, as well. and in 1-3, it is easier to let the turtle make you small rather than having to bounce your way into that pyramid to get at the coins.. thanks for posting this; it really brings back memories of playing against my cousin to see who could beat the game fastest :)

it's crazy, I get almost a saddening sort of nostalgic feeling seeing this, hearing the music, see... I never really liked this so much, as many of the enemies and such were too small to see on a gameboy screen. The choice of using Can-Can music for the star power up was also odd. But DAMN, I love the music to the first level :( SML2 was pure awesome.

How did you reach such a score as 999999? Did you do it on the original system without using any 'alterations'?

it was very very simple!

I was a child so I had a lot of patience.

You should gain at least 80 lifes or something.

In the last level you must defeat first monster (getting 5000 points) and lose with the boss.

This way you reach the best score! I was about 11, so I had many time to lose!
