Awww! I love rats :) unfortunately the only place i can get them up here is a pet shop that likes to keep and sell boys and girls together. I cant look after rat babies right now :(

I am expecting 2 litters in 2 and 3 weeks so i dont know how many i will end up with but i dont care i am addicted to rats i love them all so much and as long as they are all cared for and loved then whats the problem? How do you remember all their names? xx
I have two Jenny cages and 11 rats. Your video is a warning of how far the adiction to rats can go. The ideal number is about 2 or 3. If you have too many they take a long time to clear and also start to smell. Aso you have to play with them everyday and 44 is far toomany
If the ideal number is about 2 or 3 then why do you have 11?. For your information, most of these rats happened by accident when two of my males very cleverly managed to open their jenny cage while 6 females were out for a runabout. Its basically taken over my life and my finances but I do my very best for these lovely animals and that includes cleaning their cages on a regular basis. They also have a climbing frame made for them in a large room to play in while their cages are cleaned. Thanks

So you dont like rats then? When you say "so I can get a life" that would suggest that you dont really like rats and would rather be doing something else! So why bother keeping rats in the first place and more to the point, why comment on my videos visciously then ask me to be your friend. Perhaps you need to retire from everything in life, not just engineering. Go away.
@iwhyte52 : 44 is alot, and could be too much for alot of people, but as long as you love them, can provide for them, and have time for them, I don't see a problem with the number you keep. =) Weldone!!
@boywithadolphin You can have as many pets as you'd like as long as where you live is legal, and you can afford to keep them with vet care and proper care.

Hi again, yes I kept most of the babies, I rehomed 7 of them. I had to get the biggest cages available because there are so many. Might have to buy more cages soon as they are almost fully grown now and its getting a bit overcrowded. Bye for now, Ian.
