wow that was funny, great job. I saw about ten of those signs in the San Fernando Valley and took them down. Haven't seen any since. They went through a lot of trouble attaching them to the fence and to the wooden spikes, but it only took me a second to take them down and throw them in the trash. Great video.

Those signs are illegally posted. However, they (and those just like them) are a common feature of the L.A. landscape.  They are found on construction fences and near freeway onramps all over So. California. The short answer to your questions: To the best of my knowledge, there is no legal consequence for taking them down and I've never seen law enforcement do anything about them.
