This is breathtaking. This crosses the line into Art. David Gavurin's guitar work is excellent, but it is the combination of Harriet Wheeler's sublime voice and her uncanny ability to interpret a song (this is not the only example) from the pensive understated beginning through to the intensity of feeling present in the chorus and end that makes this gem a masterpiece.

Some years ago, my girlfriend and I were driving a cliff side coastal road as the sun was setting over the ocean. This song was playing on the car radio as the warm summer air rushed in through the windows. Without doubt, one of the most romantic moments of my life. I'll never tire of this song. Beautiful.

I think it's just the raw talent and professionalism of how the song is presented. The emotion and effort that's put into this rendition really shows. The mood that The Sundays create IMO reflects the true feel the writer wanted to convey. Nicely done, nice indeed.

I almost blew my load in my pants when I watched this scene in Fear. Such an AMAZING scene like unreal it's almost tooooooo good to be made by humans. When I watched this movie for the first time on a late summer night with my girlfriend last summer. I didn't think it would be anything thing special but it was a good movie and that 1 scene made it all worth while. The Sundays version however, is all together--it's magical.
