Just a tip use a small metal ladle to spoon hot oil over the taco, instead of risking splashing with a spatula, but you really don't need to if your using a good 1 inch for frying.

Using 2 spatulas looks so awkward - I make my own taco shells but use two forks instead and to drain I turn them upside down on a paper towel. I checked the video to see if I could learn something new - but I think I prefer my method instead.
