  • Handsome man with a big heart and wrote some beautiful songs.Denny remembered.

  • Dennis was such a great musician in his own element. This song is so beautiful. Brian once said that "Forever' has to be the most harmonically beautiful thing I've ever heard. It's a rock and roll prayer.". Oh how I wish we could have Dennis and Carl back, and happily give them Mike.

  • "I ask the sky just what we had

    It shone forever"

    wow.

  • I just love watching this so much. Getting to see Dennis showing his talent is awesome :)

  • My wish is for a guy to sing this to me.

  • creepy stare by Mike at 2:15

  • the day Dennis Wilson died...there was no such thing anymore as the Beach boys ='(

  • This is one of my favorite songs by Dennis. I could sit here all day and night listening to Dennis's songs, he had such an amazing talent, too bad his brother Brian never realized it. Dennis should have been the lead singer for the Beach Boys and not Mike Love. Should have put Mike Love on drums instead.... RIP Dennis.

  • HAVE MERCY.

  • he looks so peaceful while he singing that song..

  • Ohh Dennis...I wish you were here R.I.P :'( Great song

  • I still can't believe Dennis wrote this. I bet Brian felt the same way when he found out too lol.

  • Love, love, love this song! Dennis was such a beautiful man.

  • is this the original?

  • @afrundzhyan75 well a live version - but yes - sung by the songwriter....

  • @hellomcflyy thasts good:)

  • A lot of good looking girls in the audience.

  • This song is of such a talent. This is why rock icons should really stay away from drink and drugs it stopped his career and caused his death :( RIP Dennis Wilson

  • Such a beautiful song. I could stay on here for hours and listen to all of Dennis's songs. He will always live on through his music. Rest in peace Dennis, we will never forget you!!!

  • Sunflower is such a great album!

  • @dumbangel21 You are so correct. One of my favorite most underrated Beach Boys albums.

  • I saw the Beach Boys four times in concert in the '70s, man those were GREAT days!!!!

  • Racing do you Okie Fom Muskogee & Heros & Villians from this concert?

  • This song will get you through.

  • I remember seeing this on TV at the time. It also featured Kate Taylor, sister of James. Who else was on?

  • Thanks D, this is very moving

  • The audience was getting it. They had to now overcome all of the problems that Capitol created for them by dubbing them the stripped shirt surfer dudes. It was now an uphill resurgence and they rose up to the challenge. Great song and great performance.

  • so solid

  • Never saw this before, only in segments. Thanks for posting this.

  • not sure why this wasn't a single - they could have used a big hit around 70-71

  • @hellomcflyy I don't know if releasing Forever as the single would have mattered. As good as Sunflower is, it was a flop of historical proportions. Broke the top 200 for maybe 2 weeks and never got higher than #151. Folks just didn't want to hear from the Beach Boys at that time.

  • @peterp21 Sunflower was a top 10 in britian. And they did there concerts were beginning to sell out again.

  • Where can I find the full concert. GREAT QUALITY, THANKS

  • @RACINGINTHESTREET91 it's from a TV show concert called "Good Vibrations in Central Park" from 1971.

  • he sounds like late-70s BW
