It's very sad that the crash games failed after the ps1 games. Naughty dog sold the rights for this then the Jak games if im well-informed. It's dissapointing that this newer shite mucks up the series reputation

It just occurred to me that the Naughty Dog intro shows binary going into the box and characters coming out. In other words, developers and programmers using raw code to produce the game.

Very clever.

Nothing beats Crash Team Racing!!! Nitro Kart, Wrath Of Cortex, Bash, they were pretty good, Tag Team Racing was decent (basically, I LOVE the girls there, Coco, Nina and Pasadena), but... CTR FTW!!!

@CodeGamer1 That's not true! The thing is, when you collect 10 apples whichever boost or upgrade etc. you pick up afterwards is gonna be like, super-charged.

@CodeGamer1 Well, the speed increase is ever so marginal though. however, once you get ten of them, all your weapons are supercharged (or at least that's how i remember it).

@TheMoonPower I still liked crash twinsanity also, but sierra was already making changes if you think about it. In twinsanity crash looked slightly different, as did all the characters, and sierra went away from the regular spirit of crash and warp roops & stuff. In twinsanity, they made the gems hidden and among other things, i think it just felt like an open world adventure type game rather than a crach game.

I still play this game at the old ps1 a friend gave me...I play for time trial records,competitively...with players from all the world :D And I am proud I can say I am much better than the guy who drives this one :P

I probably could play this game competitivally if I wanted to, if I learned all the shortcuts, but instead I play Modern Warfare 2 tourneys (x360). I have seen some of those WR videos on this game, and if I tried hard enough and mastered all the shortcuts, I could probably beat them but i'd rather play casually.

@CodeGamer1 I don't doubt that you can learn the game for competitively playing.It took me almost no time to learn it,why wouldn't you be able to?But don't think you would get a WR time if you try,because these times are perfect ;)

And,I see I forgot to mention in the last comment,the video is nice,showing that you play with emulator.Did you ever try to play it online?I had few fail tries :)

You also have to learn how to drive fast(for exmple, whenyou go in a downhill, your speed is increasing, so when you finish the downhill you can jump to keep the speed you got from the downhill)

Pepole that can make WR are playing this game for years(usally around 3-4, I play this game actully for 5 years!!!) and it takes a lotttt of practice to make a wr.

i mainly play as dingodile for adventure for a challage and i completed it 100% and im only 13 years old maybe Its skill lol the computer got owned by the way i got dyslexia if u dont know what it is internet surf it its a learning disorder,my faverite characters on the game are Crash,dingodile,ripper roo,n.tropy and penta pengiun i beat the Computer players on hard ^-^

Put ur ps1 memory card into ur ps2 and save in on it, you cant delete anything on a ps1 memorycard with a ps2 tho.

u have no idea what i went through to get dazzle to work lol, first i used the software it came with to record, and that made it a very wierd file type that youtube didnt recognize, so i tried recording it with windows movie maker, but it had no sound, so i got in a chat with Pinnacle Tech Support, that solved nothing, and about a half hour later i figured out how to get sound with windows movie maker on my own. so after about 6 hours of hell, tons of wasted videos, enjoy all of my dazzle videos
