  • Hey Lee I workout for 2 hours almost every day, like 12 different back workouts and 4 bicep workouts then rear delts in one day. Then chest and tris and front delts the next. is this too much? It seems like some people only do a few exercises a day

    It could be from too much weight, but it maybe the exercise itself. I personally don't like upright rows, they just feel awkward to me, I prefer to do face pulls instead.

  • @stupidfreshx It's probably because your grip is locked into one width on the bar while your arms are moving. Since your grip isn't giving way, it makes your shoulder joints give way, which is why it causes pain. With a barbell, it's an unnatural movement. Try them with db's and do more of a high pull type of movement, where you lean forward slightly and the db's are raised to your lower chest. At that point, your upper arms are parallel to the floor and really stimulating your side delts.

    Yes, this can be done with dumbbells as well. Shoot for 3 sets of 10 reps.

Get your protein from eggs ,tuna (not too much tuna ) beef chicken milk yougert cottage cheese non fat salmon not too much either and get your clean carbs from whole wheat pasta red skin potatoes the correct name is red pontiac whole wheat bread or whole wherat crackers and nuts and grains and get a good multi vitamin wiht not too much iron iron is not s ogood for men .

  • You don't really need protein supplements. I workout intensely, and then drink one glass of protein every day to speed recovery. The working out is the main thing though.

  • Hey guys...the excersizes are maybe ok, but definitely not performed properly. Just take a look at how much their backs hyperextent. It's ridiculous. much too fast too...I can only suggest that noone does it accordingly.

    If one wants to workout properly and efficiently, one should do it slowly and focus more on posture and coordination rather than too much weight and speed.

  • dude get off the creatine and protein its a waste of time. eat healthy, the only reason you should be taking protein after a workout is to fill your stomach, its better off to eat red meat or green veggies.

  • YOU REALLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. Eat red meat OR green vegies? How the hell are you meant to get enough protein for muscle development from vegetables? Only eating red meat will make you fat.

    I'd recommend using Whey Protein Isolate (WPI). Additionally using creatine monohydrate is optional, but beneficial depending on your goals. Don't buy fancy expensive rubbish, in a lot of cases the no name brands bought cheaper off the internet work the same.

    Morning: 5 Poached eggs with WHOLEMEAL BREAD, with green tea and glass of water

    Snack: At least 3 pieces of fruit, with bottle of water

    Lunch: Wholemeal pita with whole can of tuna and salad with another 2 pieces of fruit with a bottle of water

    Snack: Wholemeal bread, no butter. Maybe some soy nuts.

    Dinner: Always something high in protein

    A tip for your diet would be to spread out more protein throughout the day with rice added in the morning and lunch.

    I've try few diets and so far i've only found one that might work. But it requires almost double what you're eating.

    dude i'm 16 and I'd really try protein supplements if i were you. They maybe expensive in some places at our age but fortunatly i got mine on special offer and bought a few for the months.

    Whats working really well for me is egg in the morning. Not fried, just done another way. I normally have peppers with that or a some fruit. Seriously, its tasty and healthly for you.

  • My mum is not letting me do protein supplements, dunno why. So I buy Lucozade Recovery bars, and body fuel.

    I train 3 times a week. Weight training. And I try to do Cardio. But atm it's been hard cos of the weather.

    I train, Mon, Wed, Friday for up to 4 hours.

    I have three eggs in the morning :P With Wholemeal bread. If you want to know my nutrition I can post it to you :]

  • that's ignorant. I bet you're a skinny bastard. eating veggies is great, but you put on the most muscle when you're also consuming at least 1 gram of protein for every pound of bodyweight throughout each day.

    I've been using protein and creatine for a little while now, wasn't using it before, and with it I haven't seen any improvements, i'm trying to atleast put on 20 pounds before next summer, i've been working out hard still and changing put my routine, but haven't seen any improvements, even with the protein powder and creatine, any sugguestions?, I haven't changed my diet, and i even cut out cardio

  • whats ur creatine and protein called? and try eating 4-6 meals a day, lean meals.

  • @pronation1 if you want to gain weight you need to drink a ton of milk and eat like a fat person. seriously! 4-6 lean meals a day will not make you gain 20lbs by summer.that many meals will keep your metabolism high therefore making it harder to gain. you should eat 2-3 huge ass meals a day. this will slow your metabolism down. helping you gain. keep hitting the weight while you do this. Do this until mid April. Then go 4-6 lean meals a day and cardio. By june you will be a monster! I swear!

  • @pronation1 you need to eat more take your body weight times 20 and thats your calorie intake 60% carb and 40% protein and fat. 6meals a day lots of brown rice, bananas, spinage and whole wheat bread for carbs try and stay away from processed food and simple sugars like candy and soda

  • @pronation1 Begin w/ a realistic goal. You can't gain 20lbs of muscle so soon unless you use steroids. Secondly, taking whey protein after a workout just gives your body a quickly-absorbed protein source to begin rebuilding muscle fibers asap. You still need to ingest a ton more protein from food sources and supplements. 1gram/lb of weight is what many suggest. Track your progress in a journal! Do some cardio. Be consistent. Sleep well. Give your muscle groups rest time. Aim for 5lbs by summer.

Vince is a fitness champion who do u think ur talking to?and then you complain about "form", sometimes rocking a tiny bit might help get in a few more reps, by trying to keep your "form" always 100% perfect ur gonna actually end up taking away the naturality of the movement and actually injure yourself. ur just jealous of these guys. they have control of their bodies.

  • the whole point of proper form is to reduce the chance of injury. "rocking a tiny bit" sets you up for further injury. if you get injured while doing perfect form through the entire set then you're a fucking idiot.

  • rocking a bit for momentum is better than being so obsessed with perfect form and end up using muslces ur not supposed to just to maintain your "form". proper form is very important obviously, if you use no form whatsoever ull get injured, no news there. the point is extremes are conterproductive, and its the same with "perfect" form. its mainly directed to guys who bash on bodybuilders who post videos to help others just cuz they might be rocking a bit. anyway thats it

  • You guys use your lower body too much through your upper body workouts...try dropping the weight and ONLY use your target muscle...you might not look like so much of a "savage" or a "beast" with the lower weight, but you just might make faster gains
