  • Nice truck man! U should let me pay u to make a grille just like that and ship it to me for my 02. I cant find the shell on putco and preccision grilles made a nice all in one kit but they refunded my money cuz they dont make em anymore... Im depressed lol

  • do the caltracs work pretty good or does it seem to ride rough just wondering.

  • @ISpeedRacer2001 They eliminated all wheel hop and made the rear end more stable. As far as traction goes they provide minimal help on the street, but on the strip expect to gain a tenth or two in you 60ft once they're dialed in.

  • What's is the number for Bubba bros I want to to a ls swap in my 95 obs truck and a 6.0 wld be rly nice

  • Very nice setup my friend! I'm about to drop my 408 stroker in my 04 ecsb, i'm running a Powerdyne DB11A at 10psi. I'm interested in what you have done to your 60e? And have you had problems? I see the 80e is in the future..

  • were u get your gauges?

  • where did you get that chrome cover over the gauges behind the steering wheel and who makes it?

  • yo sick truck! I have an 88 chevy cheyanne pushen about 4 and a courter hourse, that i am going to be procharging this summer! The dilema I am in is I have 23" wheels. What gear ratio is in your rear end! I am building a nine inch right now. What do you prefer. The truck is a weekend warrior not a every day driver. But I still want to be able to afford driving the PIG!

  • hey what kind of front grille is that???

  • @hooliganzride18 The grille shell is made by putco, the billet insert is custom.

  • @HGDRN12 yes i am building one now .99 4dr tahoe w/ 383 stroker 218/224 .565/.570 cam stock valves screw in studs roller tip rockers using stock fi system with a tune cai 10:1

  • where did you get the front bumper cover

  • @capeace13 It's a complete replacement steel bumper. I got it from airbagit.com

  • sick truck but i would like to know more bout the motor. what heads and is the bottom end stock lq9? what cam?

  • @BLACKLACDTS Bottom end is all Lunati pro series. Comp cam custom grind 234/244

  • what do you recommend to do to a 5.3L on a low budget to kick some ponies out?

  • @NtubaS ...find a wrecked vehicle with a 6.0L, im in the same boat, and thats what my shop emphasizes constantly.....by the time u buy heads/cam/intake for 5.3 and tune + required topend parts..you can find a Lq4/9 for cheap and just put longtubes and maybe a cam and tune and be ready to roll

  • @NtubaS call Bubba Bros in Houston Tx and buy a 6.0L for 750$ put a mild full range cam 290$ gasket kit etc. 75$.....headers 300$ head mods 300$ glue it back together .................spank them ponies take their money ,save it .....then get that 6.0 stroked to a 6.7 ..............and the you will say 5.3 what?

  • That truck is a monster, I got a 2002 Extended Cab 5.7L, I want to do something similar.

You blew your engine? So, you bought a new one....?

  • @zaw1112 Yup, blew a hole through the top and out the side of the number 7 piston, and put a couple of deep gouges in the cylinder wall that were too deep to fix. So I bought a new 6.0 LQ9 block and built a whole new engine.

  • damn buddy, your way ahead of me with the same ideas.

  • @blackO3ss It's been a long time coming, I bought the truck in October 01 and, I started this build in 2002 when I blew up the original 5.3L. I've learned a lot along the way and I still have a lot more ideas left, if only my wallet will allow it.

  • @02blown408 i look at your truck in lust

  • why no intercooler dude, would pump out a few more ponies! but sick truck overall dude. nice job

  • Thanks! I made more horsepower and boost without the intercooler and Alky injection in it's place.

  • nice 408...what is it running?

  • 1 bad ass bow tie

  • real nice truck bro i got a 2000 with a 4.3 but im gunna swap it this summer maybe with a 6.0 or 383 .. but how much did u spend with just the engine???

  • I don't remember exactly, because the engine was built in 2003 when LS parts were twice as expensive than they are now.

  • dude i want to do that with my grill but i cant find one did you fab it yourself

  • I fabbed the billet grille to fit the putco shell myself. However, precision makes a big mouth grille and shell combo if thats what your looking for.

  • this truck is beautiful and im jealous of the motor.lol

  • I had the toxic shocks on my 96 and hated them. Mines lowerd 2/4 I sent them back and got the Beclltech Nitro2 shocks. How far is yours lowerd?

  • Mine's lowered 4/6. The toxic shocks seem to ride fine, however they're being swapped out soon for some adjustable drag shocks, as well as a completely new shock setup in the rear that places them perpendicular to the ground rather than at the useless angle they're at now.

  • did you do anything to your rearend for all that extra power?

  • What kind of rims are those, they are nice man!

  • They're 22 x 9" centerline edge II wheels, thanks for the comment!

  • Man I already commented once but that truck is just so bad ass I had to comment a 2nd time! lol

  • hey truck looks great get ati to upgrade the internals to a d1 you will love it and it will make over 600 to the wheels at the same boost nicely done though

  • Thanks for the comment! Yeah I've already swapped to a D1 since I shot this vid. I'm working on a dedicated drive for the procharger right now and when thats done I'm bolting up an F1A.

  • clean truck i love it im jealous i want one just like it only extended cab with a console b and m megashifter and a for 9 inch rearend so i can turn the truck sideways when i hit second gear goin down the highway and a different sttering wheel like a grant 4 spoke with a quick release. gonna be expensive but thats what i want.

  • damn wat a truck, 520 rwhp? damn incredible, and i think my truck has power at around 350horses, a 97 silverado extended cab. i wanna get a supercharger hah

  • Nice truck man you know you should try to reroute the intake so it's not sucking all that hot air in from the engine I bet you air intake temps are high! You have methanol?

  • Thanks man! I do have methanol and on the dyno my intake temps rarely got above 115 degrees, however this was with a p1sc procharger, I'm now running a larger procharger and the intake is plumbed to pull from the cowl and the flipper door on the hood. I'm also getting an air/ water IC with Ice box for track use. Should stay plenty cool.

  • Thanks! It wasn't too difficult to install, pretty strait forward and you do have to C-notch the rear frame.

  • Hey man I really need to find where you got your bumper. That looks so sick and I'm building mine up after a wreck. Please let me know where you got that.

  • I just got a hard on and flipped my desk over! lol what size tires you running with that 4/6 drop?

  • Lol!!! 295/30/22 pirelli scorpion zeros. Not a bolt up deal. I had to trim the fender lips off to keep them from rubbing.

  • Yea man I was wondering because I have an 05 with 22's 305/40 size tires wanting to do the same drop. Don't think it's gonna work

  • Awesome truck man. I would also like to know where you got that front bumper.

  • you have enough gauges to call it a time machiene

  • fast intake and throttle body.

nice way to spend a grand =D

    truck sounds nice

  • Cam specs??? sounds good

  • 234/244 @.050 .576int/.596exh lift 114 degree duration, thanks

  • Where did you get the front bumper? I need to find one for my extended cab. Nice truck by the way.

  • Nice truck, like tha 22" I need som

  • Nice

  • this is a sexy truck

  • Thank you :)

  • nice roll pan!

what kind is it, steel or fiberglass??

  • Sir Michaels steel roll pan, fits nice and should be easy to weld up when I decide to mold it in.

  • Where did you get that smoothie front bumper? I have been looking for one for weeks now for my extended cab and not even customs shops know where to get them.

  • hp/tq ?

  • was 520rwhp/520rwtq with old p1sc procharger, now it's 600+rwhp/600+rwtq with a larger procharger. I'll be getting it dynoed again soon to find out what the exact numbers are but I'd say 600 is pretty conservsative.

  • little ass 10 bolt ?

  • Yeah, it's the 8.625 10 bolt with 30 spline axles and a detroit locker. Holds together fine, much better than the trans, but that'll be fixed soon with a 4L80E swap.

  • do you have drop leaf springs on it

  • Nope. Control arms and an axle flip-kit.

  • Why aren't you running an intercooler with procharger?

  • I made more power and boost without the intercooler, and using an Alky kit in its place.

  • Ahhh... that makes sense now.

  • Get an f1-a

  • Sick truck is that a ls based motor or vortec ?

We about to do a swap on my 2000 not to sure what to go with.Any thoughts?

  • It's the Ls based 6.0 liter motor. Depending on budget I would either go with a 6.0 block or LSX to start your build, they're probably the most reliable and strongest.

  • wow this truck is just all around amazing.

  • sounds awesome.... i have p1sc on 2007 silverado their awesome

  • Yeah, I can't get enough of the lope from the cam. The procharger is awesome, I think I might be upgrading to a F1A or C soon.

  • Lets try to keep the dipstick in the tube this time! lol sweet very sweeet

  • haha yeah, don't worry it blows out the rear main seal now, lol. I think it's time for a breather

  • sound quality is so much better on this one! i can fall asleep listening to ur truck!

damn thats a sexy rear end girdle and cal-trac bars:)

  • Yeah I tried to stay much farther back this time, but there was also a big mud puddle behind me so I couldn't go too far back. So you ready to go hunting for a 4L80E

  • r u asking me to go junkyard hoping?! or just keep an eye out for one?

  • yup, do most of the places around here pull the engines and trans before the rest of the car is sent out to the yard, or do they leave them in the vehicle?

  • they leave them in the cars normally, at least thats how the crazy rays do it... there are other junkyards around as well but i dont know what exactly they do.
