OMGoodness, I just noticed the 40MPH sign was right there, so the speed just broke, and he pulled them over immediately. He NEVER said how fast they were going. They always tell you that, but he was just pulling over when they passed by and they were not going that fast...he asked them "How fast do you think you were going?" HUH? If your accusing me of speeding you should know how fast. The cop had no idea. That's scary..because it could happen to any of us.
The drivers tone was not loud, or belligerent. He wasn't even argumentative. They clearly discussed looking at the signs before the cop even wrote the ticket. Then when he refused to sign the cop NEVER told him he would be arrested if he did not sign. So the driver was under the assumption that they were going to look at the signs as they discussed, until the officer ordered him to put his hands behind his back to the surprise of the driver. Cops only want you to comply no matter what.
He was definately right to take action but with that situation the correct action is using mace/pepper spray because a tazer can definately kill someone. If you walk near an officer with your hands in or near your pockets that tells an officer "This guy might have a gun, I'm done fucking around" so you're gonna get maced the fuck out, plain and simple; however you never taze someone who hasnt threatened an officer or is a suspect of a felony.

The drivers tone was not loud, or belligerent. He wasn't even argumentative. They clearly discussed looking at the signs before the cop even wrote the ticket. Then when he refused to sign the cop NEVER told him he would be arrested if he did not sign. So the driver was under the assumption that they were going to look at the signs as they discussed, until the officer ordered him to put his hands behind his back to the surprise of the driver. Cops only want you to comply no matter what.

He was definately right to take action but with that situation the correct action is using mace/pepper spray because a tazer can definately kill someone. If you walk near an officer with your hands in or near your pockets that tells an officer "This guy might have a gun, I'm done fucking around" so you're gonna get maced the fuck out, plain and simple; however you never taze someone who hasnt threatened an officer or is a suspect of a felony.

Popular misconception of Miranda rights..... You do not have to be given your rights until you are questioned, not when you are arrested. I am a former police officer and was disgusted by the way the officer acted and hope he was terminated. It's people like him who give cops a bad rep.

First off it is against the law to not fallow a police officers commands and if you turn and walk away from and officer who has is tazer pointed at him and the officer tells you to do something you better do it because he has ever right to taze him. Just take the ticket and go to the judge and fight it there and none of this stuff would happen but for some reason people seem to think its ok to argue like a little middle school kid and think you can do whatever they want its pretty sad.

@terryw007 what the flying fuck is wrong with you? anyone placed under arrest is required to be read their rights, otherwise its a miranda violation. he is clearly in custody of the officer after being told he was going to jail, for one, then being cuffed, two, and third being put in the car. you are obviously a shrimp dicked cop like this one. if the officer did nothing wrong, then he could've gladly showed the guy the speed limit sign he asked about. so fuck you, you piece of shit.

@jw11432 An officer has the right to handcuff a suspect before reading rights if he feels the suspect is becoming or may become belligerent or noncompliant, which this man was. Where the cop fucked up was using the wrong means of stopping the man from re-entering his car. He should have used completely non-lethal pepper spray rather than a potentially lethal tazer.

A real cop uses his social skills to explain things to people and calm the situation. A prick cop drives around frustrated all day and looks for opportunities to escalate the situation either for excitement, or so he has a chance to exert his "power."
The taser should be a last resort, not the first resort. All he had to do was explain to the guy why he has to sign the ticket. On TV the guy said he thought the officer was telling him to get out so he could show him the speed limit sign.

The girl says the cop just pulled out the tazer. The cop replies "It looks like he was leaving to me". The proof is in the pudding. 2:30 - The cop pulls out the tazer, behind the guy's back, while the guy is facing the police car. The guy does not have to comply to unlawful orders. The police officer should be reprimanded.

Federal laws state that you don't have to sign a citation roadside with proper I.D. nor can they unreasonably detain you over a traffic infraction. 2 charges should have been filed against the officer but hey there always right , assholes 90 percent ,9 percent ok guys that serve the public interest ,1 percent need 2 in the chest and 1 in the head and you drive off !!!!!!!!!!

LOL i also think its funny that at the end when the cop is explaining the order of events to the passenger he is lying out of his ass like it's not gonna be caught on tape. He totally lied about the order in which the events took place. Saying he tased him because he was trying to leave while being placed under arrest. He didnt even arrest him until after he tased him. lol I wonder what happened once this hit the courts. It probably didn't even go that far.
