blue and orange are complementary colors on the color wheel, so in theory they are supposed to look nice together. but it is your opinion, so i understand if you don't like it.
as for the blending - at the time, i was barely getting acquainted with makeup. it's unfortunate that you came across my year-old videos and don't like them, because i've grown a lot since then.
the blue and the orange DON'T go well together.. and they're not even blended well...

i'm not too sure, maybe it's because the blue is on the top, i don't know
