The overhead shot of a small group of protesters scuffling with police has the voice-over "protesters expecting thousands to attend must be disappointed". This is a misleading distortion. The peaceful march involved a much larger number, including local residents. As Palmer says later, only some of the protesters broke off into smaller groups.
