hey i want to ask you for macros for my warrior i want to use
/cast War Stomp
/startattack
/Piercing Howl
/startattack
so when i click the macro i only do war stomp and i dont do piercing howl now is there some trick to delay the piercing howl for 1 sec after the war stomp

@luishalo19 If you want it to reset after 15 seconds it's right. Else you just need to change 15 to the amount of seconds you want it before it gonna reset. Or you can do as he said in the video put "target" after the equal sign and it will reset every time you switch targets. By the way don't use the quotes, just send me a PM if you got any questions or need help :)

I have a feral druid and I'd like to ask you about a macro. The purpose is to enter form and charge the target. My macro is the following:

/cast Feral Charge - Bear
and when my druid turns into bear it says "Not Enough Rage" even if I've enough rage, because I've got the Furor talent. I can't try with /castsequence , because when not shapeshifted it's on an action bar that changes when I shapeshift and I'm not able to hit the macro twice with one binding. Please Help

@Mryesify Alas, there is no way to make a macro that repeats spells for you on a timer. Many have tried. The way to repeat a spell in a cast sequence is simply to write the spell in more than once, such as: /castsequence Starfall, Starfall, Starfall
Then you still have to hit that button each time to cast.
The instant cast spell (as long as it doesn't trigger GCD) should be first as it will fire immediately as you begin to cast the spell with cast time. You can test this by casting the instant cast spell by itself and looking to see if your action bar goes gray for a second. If not, then the GCD was not triggered and the macro should work. :)

@bandgproductions1 The macro needs to start with the 'slash command.' For a cast sequence that is '/castsequence' followed by a space. Then type in your spells exactly as they appear in your spell book, separated by a comma and space.

@ihaveaverybadcold Action Bars are set in the Interface window. With the game running press the "Esc" key, then click on "Interface," then click on "Action Bars" and activate them side bars!

@acewing2468 Not sure what you mean by 'stack' cast sequence. If you want a cast sequence to have more spells, just keep writing them! A cast sequence can have as many spells as the macro character limit will allow.
@DanteRedeemed It might help you to know that there are default key bindings already set for targeting party members. They are the F1 - F5 keys. F1 targets yourself, then F2 - 5 target the other party members. The macro for what you want to do (I think) would be:
/tar Party Member 1 [2,3, etc. - need separate macro for each]
/cast Righteous Defend
That may not be right, but it would be something like that.
@methuen8 Alas, there is no way to use macros to post items on the AH. However, there are AddOns that will streamline the process for you. The most popular of these AddOns is Auctioneer.

@moraleslenny Adjusting the size of your Action Bars is easy. It's in the video settings. With the game running, press Escape, select Video, then Advanced, and you'll see a sliding scale for UI display. Left click on the sliding button, drag it to the left, and when you exit Video your UI display will be smaller.

Then what I want it to do, is to either activate my keybindings 1 & 2 or for example Right Action Bar 2, box 4 and box 5, is it any way to do that?
Hmm, that is an interesting idea. I do not know a macro that activates other slots on Action Bars. Is there a reason you don't just move the items from your Right Action Bar to your main Action Bar? That's the only way I know of to do what you're after.
@ZenaWoW Basically it is me trying to be as lazy as possible :p What I intended on doing was to press my first macro, that activates my 2 other macros which drop down my 2 professions into tradechat. Is that possible? @CodexMarina Yeah, you can't launch two macros at once or target two things at once, so it looks like you'll have to press TWO buttons to do what you want. Rats. :-( Of course, I never post my professions to Trade Chat because that's a dreadful way to make gold, IMO. If someone knows a macro CodexMarina can use for posting professions to chat, feel free to comment!
And just gotta say this as well, because it cinda angered me what you said... I am not dropping down my professions into Trade Chat because I want gold, I do it all for free and I do it so I can level up my professions because they are not maxed. Nothing else

nice clip. have some of you fellas checked out the wow cheats pack at warcraftbotsXinfo (replace X with .) ? it's fantastic, i recently down loaded it. it's got totally everything inside it, gold guides, bots, hacks, glitches and even the new arena glitch. i perhaps shouldnt reveal to people about this however at the very least this gives you all a fair chance to obtain it before i own you all!
A 'buff' or 'debuff' is any spell or item that increases or decreases your stats or abilities. If you drink a potion that gives you added Stamina for 30 minutes, that's a buff. If a Warlock hits you with Curse of Exhaustion, that's a debuff.
I need to know, I dont have any of the spells on my bars, and I have a macro that activates nuke buffs, just a question, how do I make sure all of them are cooldowned?
The macro icon will show the cooldown timer for the first spell in the macro. If you want to be sure all spells have finished their cooldowns, just put the spell with the longest cooldown first in the macro.

I use a 15 second reset for the Immolate-Incinerate cast sequence because the DoT effect of Immolate lasts 15 seconds. You are correct; for other cast sequences, depending on cool-downs and spell durations, a shorter or longer reset time is the way to go.
And another thing that i forgot to mention....Is the icon random or i have to select a certain icon for the buffs that i said before?(Does system put automatically the right icon according to what i write)?
If you leave the icon selected to the default question mark, the game will automatically select the appropriate icon for EACH spell in a cast sequence. If you choose an icon other than the question mark, then the icon you choose will remain the same for every spell.

Your macro is perfect except for one thing, but that's all it takes to make it not work. You need an equals sign and no spaces between 'reset' and '15', so it should read: /castsequence reset=15 Molten Armor, Arcane Intellect, Slow Fall
I have tried making a macro to summon my (non combat) pet when i summon my ground mount. Only problem is that if my pet is already out and then i summon my mount again, my pet will get put away. Any idea how to keep my pet out?
@Fword84 Hehe, I've tried similar macros for calling up non-combat pets and had the same problem. I finally gave up and just put the summon pet icon in an action bar with no macro.

That's new to me. I don't know how you command your pet to attack a target and put Hunter's Mark on the target without targeting the target! If you mean you want the target to target your pet instead of you, then it's the technique we all know of allowing your pet to make the first actual attack and get the mob's aggro.
naw, i knew what i was talking about. i had seem some guy make a short explanation on how to attack without targetting, but i cant find the video, and it didnt make sense either. I want to be able to do this do that i can get my pet to attack different targets then i am attacking, without losing the time of retargetting

Remember that macros are case sensitive. You probably just need to capitalize the spell names to make your macro work. The rest of the command line looks right to me. Hope it works!

/cast Ice Lance

Hi Zena, first of all, you are awesome, you have really helped me with my macros, but I still have 1 problem, this might sound kinda useless, but is there a command to make something on another spot activate?
Lets see if I can explain this...
I put my macro I want to use on any spot...
Then what I want it to do, is to either activate my keybindings 1 & 2 or for example Right Action Bar 2, box 4 and box 5, is it any way to do that?

Hmm, that is an interesting idea. I do not know a macro that activates other slots on Action Bars. Is there a reason you don't just move the items from your Right Action Bar to your main Action Bar? That's the only way I know of to do what you're after.

@CodexMarina Yeah, you can't launch two macros at once or target two things at once, so it looks like you'll have to press TWO buttons to do what you want. Rats. :-( Of course, I never post my professions to Trade Chat because that's a dreadful way to make gold, IMO. If someone knows a macro CodexMarina can use for posting professions to chat, feel free to comment!

And just gotta say this as well, because it cinda angered me what you said... I am not dropping down my professions into Trade Chat because I want gold, I do it all for free and I do it so I can level up my professions because they are not maxed. Nothing else

nice clip. have some of you fellas checked out the wow cheats pack at warcraftbotsXinfo (replace X with .) ? it's fantastic, i recently down loaded it. it's got totally everything inside it, gold guides, bots, hacks, glitches and even the new arena glitch. i perhaps shouldnt reveal to people about this however at the very least this gives you all a fair chance to obtain it before i own you all!

A 'buff' or 'debuff' is any spell or item that increases or decreases your stats or abilities. If you drink a potion that gives you added Stamina for 30 minutes, that's a buff. If a Warlock hits you with Curse of Exhaustion, that's a debuff.

I need to know, I dont have any of the spells on my bars, and I have a macro that activates nuke buffs, just a question, how do I make sure all of them are cooldowned?

The macro icon will show the cooldown timer for the first spell in the macro. If you want to be sure all spells have finished their cooldowns, just put the spell with the longest cooldown first in the macro.

all you need to do is type
/castsequence reset=3 spell,spell,spell,ect.
Idk why u use 15 but 3 is faster reset

I use a 15 second reset for the Immolate-Incinerate cast sequence because the DoT effect of Immolate lasts 15 seconds. You are correct; for other cast sequences, depending on cool-downs and spell durations, a shorter or longer reset time is the way to go.

And another thing that i forgot to mention....Is the icon random or i have to select a certain icon for the buffs that i said before?(Does system put automatically the right icon according to what i write)?

If you leave the icon selected to the default question mark, the game will automatically select the appropriate icon for EACH spell in a cast sequence. If you choose an icon other than the question mark, then the icon you choose will remain the same for every spell.

Your macro is perfect except for one thing, but that's all it takes to make it not work. You need an equals sign and no spaces between 'reset' and '15', so it should read: /castsequence reset=15 Molten Armor, Arcane Intellect, Slow Fall

I have tried making a macro to summon my (non combat) pet when i summon my ground mount. Only problem is that if my pet is already out and then i summon my mount again, my pet will get put away. Any idea how to keep my pet out?

@Fword84 Hehe, I've tried similar macros for calling up non-combat pets and had the same problem. I finally gave up and just put the summon pet icon in an action bar with no macro.

I have a DK and want to have Icy Touch and Plague Strike on the same button. I wright like this:
/castsequnce reset=5 Icy Touch, Plague Strike
and it does not work. Even when I just put one spell ( /castsequnce Icy Touch) It does not work. But when I do this:
/cast Icy Touch
It works. But I can put Plague Strike after so its no point making a macro like that.
What do I do wrong?

@Simme95olle umm thats because it cant be done with spells that way blizz nerffed it only class that it still works with is a paladin srry u are out of luck now the only other spells that can be macrod is runeskrike and thats only because runestrike doesnt shared the GCD

You don't have a value for your reset. Just fix that and you should be all set.

@rai52www109 i have an question horn of winter is an buff that is not even long 10 mins! its acctually for combat while path of frost is an no-combat spell cause if u get damage it will cancel the spell, its for water-walking so why an macro?

how would i write the syntax if i wanted my pet to attack a target, me to put hunters mark on it, and use dash, but not targetting the guy myself. I know its possible to not target it, but I can't remmeber at all how to do it

That's new to me. I don't know how you command your pet to attack a target and put Hunter's Mark on the target without targeting the target! If you mean you want the target to target your pet instead of you, then it's the technique we all know of allowing your pet to make the first actual attack and get the mob's aggro.

naw, i knew what i was talking about. i had seem some guy make a short explanation on how to attack without targetting, but i cant find the video, and it didnt make sense either. I want to be able to do this do that i can get my pet to attack different targets then i am attacking, without losing the time of retargetting

Remember that macros are case sensitive. You probably just need to capitalize the spell names to make your macro work. The rest of the command line looks right to me. Hope it works!
