I love the referrence, There reference to both macross and macross seven are very subtle, especially when they first fought the verdg what ever you call it in the big battle, Asoma or whatever said "planet dance" before going into battle made me laugh

IMO, Ranka's cute and all, but for some reason, Minmay has that star quality that makes her more suited to being an idol. But in terms of the song, both their versions are comparable and liking one or the other is just a matter of preference. It's all good.

Women can say "Atashi" or "Watashi". Technically "Watashi" is gender neutral.

Men would be more likely to say "Watakushi".
