  • make a video and touch it in action.

  • That is awsome mate. Wicked how it does that. Please make more videos ;-)

Is it a platter out of a harddrive??. And speaker magnets??

    Many thanx ;-)

    SUBSCRIBED*

    THUMBS UP*

  • Speechless. It dose make you wonder about the NMR of the magnets. You could only get spin at resonance. That disk was genius because of the bell effect. Nice and very deep. David A. Puchta

  • question ! what is the whits things ? plastic ?

  • Do the magnets heat up and lose their magnetism if left on too long?

  • Plasma is great, but a much feasible way is magnet generator,

just go to Google and search for "top magnet generator"

check the first web site (skip the advertisements) and you'll see

how you can harness the power of magnets to produce free electricity

  • @gmesthermax Bro free electricity doesn't exist.

No machine does work freely...if it does you call that a PPM and they just DON'T exist

  • @fasyron Helical coils of mercury plasma in a vacuum evacuated torus, spun to amazingly high speed by pulsed electromagnets. That's how you make anti gravity. Apparently.

  • And then the Idea for light cycles were made. :'D

  • You basically have a streptation feild have you thought of placing a wound torroidal core at the bottom underneath the device and collecting energy from the rotating magnetic flux within the torroid. I bet if you had about 10 LED's connected to your torroidal windings you could dial into resonance and then reduce the input voltage and amperage. Test 1 how many LED's light up. Test 2 how many LED's light up at resonance. Test 3 can I reduce Voltage and Amperage and still pull off the same power?

  • It sometimes sounds like podracers from Star Wars...

  • It's a plasma motor in the making!

  • ear rape D:

  • looks tasty can you lic it?

  • Can you put some plasma in a jar and send it to me?

  • If it was possible. could this be used the firemen so they dont have to lift as much to cut down a door, since it is possible for the plasma to cut through objects. it would change a lot of stuff

  • if you put yor finger into that 'light' what would instantly happen, or what noticable change would happen in a period of time.

also, what are its properties? is it light?

  • can you make a video how to built it . ps can you bilt a torus who the plasma are inside ? PLASE WRITE BACK!

  • he stole that from iron man

  • PLASMA DUBSTEP!!!

  • did you ever known on geting a voice over tuned on spining plasma like plasmaspeaker ? -turn over to a singing arc- haha ;-)

  • dude that purple plasma is the stuff coming out of my ear, thats how loud it is holy crap.

  • OHHHH ME WANT TOUCHY

  • Nvm my last post. This is a quote from the website: Our Plasma-Jet® 3D surface-treating systems improve the bonding of inks, adhesives and coatings, allowing you to treat multiple surfaces and difficult configurations with remarkably consistent and convenient one-pass coverage

  • Hey, I've got an idea for you. If you have three magnets in opposition, ns-sn-ns, the odd number of magnets inflate the magnetic field. Place all three on one nut and bolt, and put those in your plasma chamber.

  • so basically you made plasma shield? i would like to see what happens when you put something where plasma forms.. it will burn but will it stop the rotation of plasma?

  • @fasyron Lol, anti gravity plasma? xD

  • @Dunnooooo123 its not so far fetch , with mhd propulsion you could fly trough the air as if like a fish in water . break the sound wall without supersonic boom.

  • @captainparady Stick a thruster on yourself so that you are propelled around the place? 1. You would basically be a rocket.

    2. I honestly have no idea how that could possibly create an anti gravity field.

  • @Dunnooooo123 sorry I mess up with english language, I dont think that mhd create anti gravity , to make it short the principe is that it is sucking the air and use that air as a big proportion of thrust ( It might only work in an atmospheric setting like some sort of plane) but not anti gravity , . Anyhoo The US and Russia have develop MHD toperdo whose principle pretty much suck the water rather than letting the torpedo through friction. You can say that you can use MHD to make aircraft too

  • @captainparady As far as I understand, an mhd is an ion thruster basically. Yes, I believe that ion propulsion is being developed. I guess it would be based on producing an artificial magnetic field, so that the charged particles or even conducting water contained within the field would act as a propulsive force.

  • Would you please make this device longer and speed up the rotation. Possibly use an extending electromagnetic rod/pole and also figure out a way to contain the plasma field around the top [also you may want to increase the power output]. I will be expecting my light-saber, by mail on Monday.

  • @RMabee88 or maybe he just invented the new core-shield, if you can make on of this really big and stay with the controul insid, no onde can invade right?

  • At University i learned about Magneto Hydro Drive used to power submarines or space craft using High frequency magnetic fields to propel them. Can this Magneto Hydrodynamic device work in the same way? Or as a motor? - What is its main uses please.

  • Someone put this shit in a stove. waiting for bacon to cook is too slow>:D

  • can you make a light saber :) oh and wheres the water?

  • can you make a light saber :)

  • Is that a smaller Neodymium Magnet in contact with the inox plate?

  • impressive... when I see tests like this i think man kind is getting somewhere, well until i read 1/2 the mind numbing coments in here. A shame there is more intelligent feedback for you to bounce ideas. Keep up the good work :)

  • You should make this play music, it would make an awesome looking speaker.

  • what would happen if you touched it ????

  • @clampitt100 Touch it :D

  • @clampitt100 depends on the power he is pumping into that thing. but generally it hurts. with enough power you could get some severe burnings on your finger. and if you touch it with both hands at the wrong spot - you can die. anymore questions?

  • What you want to do is encase your apparatus in a metallic sphere that has a tube going through the middle of it with smooth edges. The plasma will travel through the tube and follow the contour of the sphere. If the plasma field generated is powerful enough and flows seamlessly around the sphere, you will see it levitate.

  • anakin skywalkers spaceship engine from star wars 1

  • total ignoramus here... what happens if you touch the spinning purple thing?

  • @MichaelCoolGuy86 mild to severe pain, all the way to death. depends on power, and how you touch it.

  • If you put a bead of mercury in the center does it excite it in any way?

  • @Witig dangerous vapor of mercury

  • @gilbondfac You have the very basic form of gravity displacement using a plasma field. UFOs use a similar technique, but they use a fusion or anti-matter reaction to generate a massive plasma field that displaces gravitational effects. Keep going.. you are on the right path!

  • @gilbondfac REGARDLESS, you dont understand the fact that mercury is a liquid thats metallic, theres plasma and magnetism, high speeds..... you can create some form of anti gravity using it,

  • @hellzone100

What would he contain the mercury in? We have no materials strong enough to hold those forces at bay! The mercury would break out of the confinement and possibly blow his head off in the process.

  • @fuunguus Google a little bit. You need to contain it in a vessel, there needs to be counter rotation to make a magnetic effect.

Mercury is metallic, it can be affected by a magnetic field. The mercury needs to be supercooled and mixed with a super fluid such as liquid helium which is said to create a frictionless environment which can be controlled via electromagnets. The faster the fluid spins the more anti-gravity is created, up and down motion, not sure yet about sideways motion.

  • Containment process, all part of advance technology.

    Engineering 101

  • @gilbondfac Yea he should have asked about if you used a bead of gallium instead... Not nearly as dangerous.

  • @gilbondfac donut shaped vacume tube with a drop or two of mercury placed eather outside or incide plasma. Im just courious hehe

  • DUDE GOOD ANWSER!!!

  • Looks like a future weapon o.O

  • @fasyron Nasa uses MHD phenomenon for propulsing some objects at high speed.

MHD is a generalization to hydrodynamics namely the physics of "classical" fluids as liquids and gas, to the plasma fluid which reacts with the magnetic field.

So yes, it could be used for that purpose, but not more than the propelling gases of a skyrocket are.

  • @endoTHEOSIS Sorry bud I mean 17yo's

  • @endoTHEOSIS this is why 10yo's shouldn't make comment's! everything you said was garbage!

  • I hate to be rude but reading some of the comments, some of you have no clue what your saying all! I understand if you think i'm a prick for saying!

  • @theantiredneck @theantiredneck No, you see, if you transmutate the external network of metallic fibers on the magnets, you can easily exponentially increase your output of pseudowattage, making the plama output quite a bit above normal gaseous standards. You could even create a permutation of oxygen to form a gelatinous base around the plama.

  • @fasyron yes not only can it but this is a in the design of the more newer types (late 70's and later)! This would be a resonator in a resonator type engine, this is what would be the controller of the main field but the disk would have a bigger hole making it look like a ring frisbee! One on top of the main coil and one below! the resonators are what spins the main field witch is in the shape of a donut(from a coreless EM coil) and spun like a smoke ring! A Field effect gyroscope!

  • and thus, podracing came to be

  • can i use this as salad dressing?

  • Is this what they use in movies and such?

  • How many voltz does it require to do this? And AC or DC?

  • @fasyron no i wouldn't think it could be used for anti gravity but looks like it could make a really nice force field if it were bigger scale that is :)

  • @fasyron Anti-Gravity is solely Science Fiction. Plasma experiments are being conducted in an attempt to create Plasma fields that can affect ions to create ion winds, which in conjunction with other natural laws of fluid dynamics create lift. The lift itself is not Anti-Gravitational, but simply the result of Low and High Pressures of air acting on an object. The hope is to create highly efficient Plasma generators that can create efficient Ion winds to power aircraft lift and propulsion.

  • @ObiTrev actually anti-gravity is real up to certain point so far. look it up

  • @PlaneAU Well that's true, in context. For instance a greate magnetic pull on an object filled with water can cause it to levitate, counteracting the pull of gravity. Although, this is not disabling the gravitational field, but applying a force that is stronger than it, therefore superceeding its effect. Still, like you said, a force that does counteract gravity is fully possible and does occur regularly, but a man made device that can amplify the effect 3.4E40X is purely Fictional. (# is wrong)

  • if i were there, id be tempted to touch it, but im pritty sure this stuff can burn steel.

  • @fasyron Gravitation is no force that can be controlled. Its the s.c. spacebending. This is hard to imagine because in our three-dimensional world we can only bend 2-dimensional things (paper). In a four+ dimensional world you can bend our three dimensions easily. Maybe we become 4-dimensional beings one day. Lets live and find out!

  • We all know how far movies or games can deviate from things in real life, so I have to ask. Can plasma burn through things like it does in the fiction? Or is it relatively harmless?

  • @GtarTravis yes the plasma cut and can burn it's real

  • @gilbondfac plasma cutters are awesome!!!!!

  • @GtarTravis look up a plasma cutter...i use it to cut through thick metal

  • @GtarTravis Plasma cutter is a real construction tool.

  • @GtarTravis plasma is realy realy hot, even the plasma ina neon or Fluorescent light is at levels from 500 to over 10,000 F* its just does not feel hot because even tho you see the plasma its still a real real real small area of heat, so you cant feel it thru the glass. but unlike games and tv we cant shoot it out a gun, or make a force field or window (tho a new plasma bubble window is being worked on only like 2 cm big) out of it. but we use plasma cutter to cut thru steal like its butter

  • @GtarTravis go look up plasma cutters -.-

  • That poor little IPX did not deserve that.

  • Musical Plasma!

  • @fasyron wahou ! I would like !

  • @gilbondfac wa will happen if yiu touch a plasma??

  • @gilbondfac if u dnt mind me asking how hot is plasma

  • i hate the high frequencys my ears hurt

  • looks sexy :D What happen if you touch it? :P just wondering :D

  • If anyone is wondering, the squeeking seems like its more likely to be the homopolar "motor" of the magnets...

  • bonus featue - dog whistle-- really cool demo though--

  • What happened to the sparcstation ??? :(

  • It's the MCP! (from Tron, of course)

  • And what can we do with this stuff? O.o

  • Can you please make another video; but shove a hot-dog or pop-tart in there to see what happens. Thanks.

S.V.P: Pouvoir vous fait une autre vidéo ; mais pousser un hot-dog ou une pop-tart là dedans pour voir ce qu'arrive. Merci.

  • 1:42 Now touch it :P i dare ya

  • i waana make a weapon

  • nice

  • time machine?

  • This is making me think, giant plasma shields

  • don't stare 2 hard at t, it might giv u a seizure!

  • bonjour très impressionnant pouvez vous me dire quel serons les applications directe de cette expérience, quel est le but de ce plasma a haute frequence

  • What would happen if i would put my finger there?

  • it looks like an UFO

  • just the sound itself is awesome

  • Hey nice thing you have there. I have been working on a similar device, but some how I always end up with some burned transistors. This one you have here seems to work smoth, is just amazing. Can you share the specs to build one? thanks a lot.

  • @damnfoile you have build it with NE 555? modulation in pin 5

  • @gilbondfac mmm nop, I have some experience with NE555 but I still need to learn more about them (i already burned a few jaja)

  • what would happen if you were to put your finger where the plasma is spinning? would it be so hot that it would cut your finger off instantaneously?

  • @gatorboy1444 no ! temp .. between 300 to 800°C

  • @gilbondfac so its pretty hot but not so hot to lose a finger. yet hot enough to deliver a nasty burn.

  • i bet it can be tuned to play music like plasma speakers

  • first force field?

  • shweet

  • Nice, just like as in lifter :) Cool effect's are when hv applied to hdd ribbon, surface plasma effect or something named like that :) About some people who say "not plasma, electricity" heh.... plasma is highly ionised gas, and ionisation is caused by electricity, so.... :)

  • what gas did u use?

  • @youngliebniz

he used AIR... because air can be ionised by high frequenc.

  • IT SOUNDS AWSOME!@!!!@!!!

  • getting your windu on?

  • I would try wether or not a laser-beam can pass the "shield"...

  • cool stuff!!!

    its yours?

  • energy shield?:)

  • vraiment jolie !

  • lol, it sounds like a chipmunk version of the Jetsons' cars Xp

  • What happens if u stick ur hand onto the violet light?

  • @draxdagreat Your hand will turn into a hairy lesbian that smells like cabbage!

  • the light isn't the issue, the extremely hot air and lots of electricity that is

  • I have never seen this before.... wow , could you make a bigger and stronger plasma field to use it like a shield ? Is it dangerous for me , if I put my hand in ?

Thx for the cool Video... i really have never seen this before :)

  • At same power high voltage DC is much better tolerated than low voltage AC.Ask any sadomasochist.

  • why is it purple? and can u make in another color? id like to see it green. =D

  • i believe purple is the color of regular atmospheric air plasma, to get green you would need some other gas (or combination of gases), i'm not sure if just changing the air pressure without changing the gases would change the color though, i think it wouldn't, but i dunno

  • the utility of this NOISER XD ???

  • yah yah this is cool and all but what would be cooler is if u stuck ur finger in the arc...

  • sure=D as a hi do death X3

  • nice dude

  • i see UFOs!

maybe that is how the flying sausers fly!(assuming the stories and discriptions are true)

  • Is this spinning always clockwise?

  • @GingleGangle1

perhaps the direction of rotation has to do with the polarity of the magnetic field.

  • @davematthewsblows ...yeah, if this is a DC.

  • @GingleGangle1

im speaking of the magnetic field that is residual in the neodymium magnets, not any feild that might be created by an electrical current passing through a medium. correct me if im wrong or missing something. no offense intended and believe it or not this is actually a serious conversation on you tube.

  • what happens if you turn this field?

  • plasma generator prototype :D

  • and what is the practical application for this?

  • MHD propulsion

  • @beege19 Doesn't have to have a practice use if it makes that sound "WIWIWIWI"

  • WOOW :O

  • how it works ??

  • oh and just btw, it makes that sound because of the frequency of the electricity from the power supply

  • Comment removed

  • your an idiot thats not plasma

  • Ha ! it's what ?

  • Look everyone, irony!

  • hey, idiot, actually it is.

  • how am i an idiot tell me it could have easily photo shopped and i have done that it is just electricity

  • umm one, u cant photoshop videos you would need a different program

two, this is not just electricity its plasma

  • yes you can photoshop videos i do it everday

  • @kanbeetv

haha photoshop doesnt do videos photshop only works pictures

u might be using a different program but not photoshop

  • sure, frame by frame, but doing something like this in photoshop is practically impossible.

  • hey fruit tart, electricity doesn't flow through air like that because air doesn't CONDUCT. Ionized air (plasma) DOES because it has no electrons, thus having an open path for the current to jump through

  • do you have any idea what your talking about?

  • Is that a warp drive?

  • thats some scary shit right there.

  • this reminds me something out of TRON

  • Every time I see this it makes me more and more excited to study physics.

  • that would be an awesome protectionshield :P

  • soo ftw is that thing :D ?

  • Next step, build UFO? Amazing stuff!

  • Very nice. Also extremely pretty..lol

  • awesome

  • Can you play music with this?

  • lol - just my thought

  • holy shit surprised that doesnt fuck the camera

  • merci ! n'hésitez pas à me demander comment réaliser une de mes expériences!
