I love how staged his interactions are, especially when they're building the snowman and the kids start throwing snowballs, and Phil's like "oh! No! Look at those kids! They're throwing snowballs at us!" and just goes through the motions to get to the next part. It must be how an actor feels sometimes, practicing the same scene over and over again.

Andie MacDowell is one of those (few) women who actually look better in early 90's/80's conservative attire, as opposed to the more modern and overtly sexual stylings of today.

Many women (think Elaine from Seinfeld) look better now, even being 10+ years older, because of various improvements in science/beauty and sexier dress. But I much prefer Andie-- or Rita in this movie-- with the old school hairstyle and conservative dress.

This is just Phil in his early horny phase.He probably slept with every eligible woman in town. Nancy was just the first of many conquests we never saw. He did repeat living through Groundhog Day for something like ten chronological years after all.
