  • Great Video, 5 Stars!

  • Super, purklwd! Greetings with my video!!!!!!!

  • @TheSweetSeducation You mean you pass by it by car/bike/foot every day? Or do you mean you take the schwebebahn everyday to get to school. No problem, Google translate saves my life once a month for work. Try to translate technical papers from English to Dutch and vice-versa.

Anyway I've googled (where would I be without Google?) for Kaiserwagen and I've noticed if you speak English you'll need to pay 1 Euro more if you're an adult, children only 50 cents more. Wuppertalers don't like tourists?

  • I hope you like the schwebebahn, wuppertal and germany

  • @freshnAyt that's a lot of hopes.

  • @purklwd ^^

  • sweet video 5*

  • hey i born in wuppertal ^^

Wuppertal RuLeZ

  • Jap.:)

  • no ! no "weisswurst" in wuppertal this shit comes from bavaria (bayern)

  • Yes I know, I just made a joke about it because of the Bavaria sign.

  • Very cool that your a metro geek. I have been one all my life. Why are you this way?

  • No, only since 10 years or so. Why I'm like this? Isn't everyone a bit crazy?

  • Ohne Kommentar wärs besser gewesen.

  • Your video is really nice, well done!

I had to laugh about the Weißwurst-joke. I think you now it know - Bayer is a pharma company. Beside the invention of Aspirin, they sold heroin as a cough mixture (they saved it also as a patent) after they found out how to produce it. That was in 1898.

    Rock on!

  • So many interesting facts about Bayer.xD I'm going to Bayern next month. So I'm going to ride two metros. Rock on to you too dude.:D

  • Nice Video! I live in Wuppertal and this train is my daily way to work. Don't worry, you spelled the Stations nearly correctly ^-^

Yes, it was a joke, but did you know, that exactly the Bayer pharma company in Wuppertal made the Asprirn =)? Wuppertal is more famos as somebody know ^-^.

Today the train had a bad accident. A crane hit it. Fortunatly only the cranedriver hurted but his live is not in danger.

If you want, wirte me ^-^maybe we can talk a lot ^^... it's very boring actually xD

  • Hello. I live in the near of Wuppertal. Although I know the " Wuppertaler Schwebebahn" it's an attraction for me. Your video is very nice. Good day

    Jan

  • Thank you. You are so lucky.:)

  • Hi there, they certainly don't make Weisswurst in Wuppertal. Wuppertal is hundreds of kilometers north from the Weisswurst equator. Actually, Weißwurst is a Bavarian (and Silesian) dish. In Wuppertal, they would rather make Currywurst.

  • Yes, I know that Weisswurst is originally from Bavaria. It was just a joke. I just linked Bayer with Bavaria and bavaria with Weisswurst. To tell you the truth, I ate a currywurst that day.xD

  • actually, there are two flavours of Weißwurst: the Bavarian one make of pork and the Silesian, which is made of veal and served not with mustard but with Sauerkraut, potatoes and melted (brown) butter.

However, if your film shows the Bayer emblem, I must have overlooked it or simply did not get the joke.

  • Hmm, were can I find this Silesian one? I'm sausage crazy.:D

  • Leuk filmpje! (behalve de uitspraken dan... maar dat maakt niks uit) en die comments erbij zijn leuk.

  • This is an interesting tram indeed.. But WHY?? Is it really cheaper to build it like this than the ``normal`` gauge tram lines?! And are there any other cities with such a Schwebebahn?! :)

  • They built it because there was no space for a normal gauge tram line. There was one in Eberfeld (one of the four cities that became Wuppertal about 50 years ago), but they closed it. A real subway was not possible because of the foamy soil in Wuppertal.

Yes, there are a few similar systems, but they are not very big. The biggest one, I think, is at the airport of Düsseldorf.

  • i love your accent.

  • haha me too^^bin auch aus wuppertal^^

  • hihi it's so uninteresting for me... im from Germany (wuppertal) and drive with the schwebebahn every day.

    But it's a realy good video =)

Sorry when there is a mistake, but my english isn't very good.

  • Kein Problem, mein Deutsch ist super übel.:D

  • Thank-you very much. It's an excellent video, and I love your comments. Happy metrogeeking.

  • Cool one :) I like it very very much! Thanks for sharing this!
