I was in Krakow, Poland recently i visited the camps of Auschvitz, I wasa amazed by the shear size. the camp was also split into 2. one half was a torture chamber like you could never imagine and the 2 a labour camp where millions i guess where worked to death.
@qizlox the entire camp were split in 3, (1)Auschwitz; this was a former polish millitairy base, and used to imprison polish intulectuals, (2)Birkenau; this was the real death camp, with four large gaschambers and creamatoria, (3)Monowitz; this was the factory camp, ammunation and gas were made here. so with a little bad luck you were producing the same gas that would eventually kill you.

whenever i think auschwitz i think of birkenau and how scary it would be being an inmate, if i was an inmate i would start a revolt in the first few days of being there, plus if the nazi's made me a sonderkommando i would kill myself instead of killing my own people... just saying
they were used to store the Zyklon B(wich were in a form like small pills, when people where standing in the gaschamber the guards grabbed a tin, and poured down the content down a hole in the roof of the gaschamber. after that they sealed off the hole. and let the gas do it's work.)
(Zyklon B becomes active after a certain amount of heat(body tempature for example)

That pic was taken by an inmate with a smuggled camera from the Polish resistance, the same group that blew up Krema 4. There is a great 14 part series posted on YouTube called "Kitty Return to Auschwitz". Kitty Moxon was sent to Birkenau when she was 14, she survived and went back in 1979 and made a vid. It describes what life and death were like in Auschwitz from some one that was there. It's amazing.

Every child has irrational fears. But the fear and the thing is so real to them it would be unbearable. I remember being afraid of police when I was a child. When I heard sirens I thought that they were automatically coming to arrest whoever they could. I don't know why I felt that way then - irrational fear. But these children - it was their worst possible fear actually coming to pass. I can't imagine this from an adult standpoint. Let alone, an innocent child. The horror is beyond description.

When the allies broke in Germany and Poland and found out some of the concentration camps that weren't destroyed by the nazi's, they've seen the survivors and the thousands of dead bodies and couldn't believe their eyes...such is the evil nature of us humans.So much hate, so much....will to kill others.Makes me feel dirty.

You can't blame a country for soviet and allies propaganda. Just compare what you call "gas chamber", what is shown in Auschwitz, and a gas chamber facility in a penitentiary. All you got are "witnesses" that you chose to believe because "they suffered so much". What about the 5.500 "victims" of nov. 2010, who appeared to be crooks? "neo-nazis need education"? I was in Krakow, Poland recently i visited the camps of Auschvitz, I wasa amazed by the shear size. the camp was also split into 2. one half was a torture chamber like you could never imagine and the 2 a labour camp where millions i guess where worked to death.

@qizlox the entire camp were split in 3, (1)Auschwitz; this was a former polish millitairy base, and used to imprison polish intulectuals, (2)Birkenau; this was the real death camp, with four large gaschambers and creamatoria, (3)Monowitz; this was the factory camp, ammunation and gas were made here. so with a little bad luck you were producing the same gas that would eventually kill you.

- So that they could tell who was who. Like a nametag. Also because tattoos were against the Jewish people's religion, so that's why they were in the form of tattoos.

they were used to store the Zyklon B(wich were in a form like small pills, when people where standing in the gaschamber the guards grabbed a tin, and poured down the content down a hole in the roof of the gaschamber. after that they sealed off the hole. and let the gas do it's work.)
(Zyklon B becomes active after a certain amount of heat(body tempature for example)

tatoos for administartion, so changing clothes to prevent execution or try to escape is a lot more difficult.
tiny?? have you seen how big these creatoriums were. if they would have burned them outside a lot of people would have seen it, not to forget people could make pictures of it. which later could be used as evidence when SS officers faced trial.

That pic was taken by an inmate with a smuggled camera from the Polish resistance, the same group that blew up Krema 4. There is a great 14 part series posted on YouTube called "Kitty Return to Auschwitz". Kitty Moxon was sent to Birkenau when she was 14, she survived and went back in 1979 and made a vid. It describes what life and death were like in Auschwitz from some one that was there. It's amazing.

Every child has irrational fears. But the fear and the thing is so real to them it would be unbearable. I remember being afraid of police when I was a child. When I heard sirens I thought that they were automatically coming to arrest whoever they could. I don't know why I felt that way then - irrational fear. But these children - it was their worst possible fear actually coming to pass. I can't imagine this from an adult standpoint. Let alone, an innocent child. The horror is beyond description.
