  • Jose: You claimed your sorry cholo "opened a discussion", when was the last time someone would "open a discussion" in such a disrespectful manner? I had different opinions with another person in this forum but we discussed like any educated adults do in a respectful manner. If you are "moving on," then why keep on coming back at me? Is it because your drug deals have no business today because your cholo homies are locked up so you get mad at me? Jose, get a life in jail where you belong!

  • C=Community

    S=Social Services

    U=United

    N=Non Profit

    Use your head you Chicano Studies idiot. I was helping the ex-cons and they all agree that the only way to keep the community safe to lock the repeat offenders in prisons, so you call them hypocrites? They are the ones who know the best, more than gang members like your sorry ass. Even the the Creeps dude who was executed 3 years ago was telling people not to join gangs. Strke 3 Jose, you out(out touch).

  • lmao, your true colors are beginning to show, this is good, very therapeutic. I already told you, my major isn't Chicano Studies nor am I a gang member. Was this a tactic of yours with those men, repeating nonsense to make them doubt themselves? When exactly did your efforts turn from assisting men from staying out if jail to looking record numbers up?

  • Jose: You are getting more and more desperate now and have nothing to say but smearing. You are nothing but a pathetic gang member who is afraid to go to jail and want to harm innocent people. Tell you what, committing crimes will get you to jail and I will make sure you stay there as long as possible for passing laws to keep scumbags like you out of the society. Adiós Jose!

  • lmfao, let me get this straight. You presume I am a gang member(incorrectly), which is exactly the demographic you claim to help, and here you are attempting to bait me into an argument. Your a piece of work SOCIAL WORKER. Examine yourself and you true motives.

  • Jose: I help redeemed former gang members, not not gang members who are still killing people and selling drugs like you. You assume I would get profit from building jails, WRONG Jose! I am not in the construction business. You scumbag was the moron who wanted to debate with me and now have the balls to accuss me to debate with you? Did you just smoke something Jose? Jose, advise for you, stop doing drugs, your brain is not functioning properly.

  • I opened a discussion and you've degraded it into a tirade. And you repeating 'Jose' doesn't make that my name. Let's recap: scumbag, moron, smoker, banger, ignorant. These are your powerful, educated arguments? Truly pathetic. I'm moving on, it's useless to argue with condescending children.

  • Trust me guys, a lot of those so-called "community activists" are actually gang members themselves! I used to work for a non profit organization in South LA and had seen it. They are the ones who criticize the law enforcement for "police brutality" but you never hear them say anything about gang violence. Folks, don't be fooled by these gang members and vote yes on Prop 6! Gang members use the fear tactic all the time, this is just one of them!

  • the fact is that South LA is not California, and we don't have to pay for their mistake as a state wide.

  • I think you don't know too much about California, South LA is just a small part of California. There are a lot of areas in California have gang problems. Just check the top 10 most dangerous cities in America and tell me how many of them are in California. All of them have very serious gang problems. I respectfully asking you to do some researches before you make comments.

    Of course, I appreciate your comment and respect it.

  • I've lived in California for 15 years now, northen California, and I don't think that passing this prop is going to help the gang violence issues we have. Sorry.

  • I have lived in CA since 1985, studied Criminology in college and is working in the Social Services field so I definitely know what I am talking. It will help to stop gang violence for sure. This is very similiar to the 3 Strikes Law that was pssed a decade ago, it has helped the crime rate to go down nationwide because the longer the criminals stay in confinement, the less they can harm the innocent people. All the criminal research studies all support that.

  • This and the 3 trikes laws do nothing for long term change. If you studied this in school then you must know the incarceration stats. How much have they gone up? Why are you omitting that fact from your statement? Prison Industry has profited from this, hasn't it? And if you're in Social Service, you're profiting as well aren't you? And OF COURSE the people in the community groups are former gang members! Who do you think best knows what's its like and can help the misguided youth?!

  • Did you smoke something? You claim I get profit for endorsing Prop 6, who is paying? Probably that's the question you should answer. The 3 strikes law has made a significant different for lowering the crime rate nationwide and this is supported by the statistics and all the Criminology researches all support it. That is because most of the crimes are conducted by repeat offenders. Don't pretent to be an expert when you are not. If I were not mistaken, you are involved with gang activities!

  • 1, I don't smoke. 2, I don't gang bang. Your criminology researchers are leaving out a big part, the prison industry has multiplied dramatically since the 3 strikes started. You think that's a positive thing in the long run? Who do you think pays and gains from that one sided research? The prison industry! I don't pretend to be an expert, I'm not out of touch and calculating as you are. The profit I said you make is from being gainfully employed by these laws enacted.

  • I am not a member of the law enforcment so how can I be making profits? This only tells people how ignorant and bias you are! People are not in prisons for no reason at all.

    You are ignoring the fact that the crime rate has gone down in the last decade because the 3

    strikes law and even President Clinton had given credit to it. One sided research? Why don't you tell the academic community your "multi sided" research outcome? Yes, keep the communities safer is a GOOD thing in long run!

  • lol are you going to pretend you're not bias? These laws aren't bias? Did they teach you at CSUN that building more prisons is good for a community? What were you doing in South LA anyway, did you volunteer on your own or just doing the minimum and staying detached to get some credit? And that made you an expert. I don't pretend to be smarter than you, but you can't look passed your ego to see the full picture.

  • You screwed up again! I did not go to CSUN, it does not have a major for Criminology. Told you that you have to use your brain, I know Chicano Studies dudes don't have that. I went to UC Berkeley just to let you know. You really have to pay attention and use your brain. I was working as a Case Manager in S. Los Angeles for 7 years for a non profit community organization, assisting parolees and former gang members to get job training and social services was my job.

  • lol relax skippy, CSUN are the first 4 letters in your name so anyone would have guessed that, but that's beside the point, you can get off your high horse. I'm beginning to wonder now, you worked at this organization for 7 years pretending to care about the people you helped and you still speak of them with such disdain? What's the name of this org, and do they know they wasted 7 years employing a hypocrite? btw, I'm not a Chicano Studies major. Strike 3 bud, your out (of touch).

  • Fear based? lol That's bs. It's because people in the legislator always want to cut spending for law enforcement. People don't see the crime in their million dollar Governor mansions so it's out of mind. When gang members don't care who they hurt, commit violent crimes, etc, something needs to be done. Just cause the crime rate didn't go up doesn't mean we don't have one of the highest crime rates in the country. PS> He's not an expert (said on another video), he's a preacher.

  • Well done, men! Now for the blitz...

    Blessings, Cyndita
