If you use Hauppauge HD PVR, do you have to save your files as M2TS, MP4 or TS? If you don't use, do you know the answer? I tried both M2TS and TS and picture in Vegas didn't move... They say that MP4 doesn't work in Vegas.

Hey alex please reply, i have a problem with my videos and the composting mode only has two options. its alpha source and multiply mask. How do i make it to have all those options you have?

Alex for some reason when i rendered the color part was like cut off at the side?

any ideas?so basically instead of entire screen filled with color on both sides a portion is just normal.

@BattlefieldViper007 Um I don't know but I'd say your best bet is to event crop/ pan and/or check your pvr capture setting because they might be weird. I'm not sure I it will work but just trying to help..

Hey Alex, I've had this problem for a while and did it accidentally ... my compositing mode is always on some shitty one that makes the video really dark instead of source alpha > how can i make it go back to automatically being on source alpha when I open vegas ?

@BattlefieldViper007 WHen you open up sony vegas, make sure that you go to your project video properties and make sure it is a resolution of 1280 by 720.

@BattlefieldViper007 also make sure on your recording program even if your on an xbox , get the thing to AVCHD not xbox or ps3 , this will also go towards fixing it =]
