  • Did he just say build quality primarily metal for the Nexus One? What a moron! I have had a Nexus One for a year and a half. It is NOT metal. It is most certainly made fully of plastic( with the exception of the glass screen of course).

  • Can someone please tell me what that weather widget the Nexus One has ?

  • VERY WELL EXPLAINED.

  • Weak Ending lol?

  • 4:39 :)

  • VISIT

    TOPCODES●CO●CC #FTW

  • This Galaxy S isn't as my galaxy s. Is it same samsung as on other videos?

  • @Blade33367 haha of course, but theres a galaxy s on every carrier that looks different, this is the att one

  • Should have upgraded the galaxy to 2.2 best phone ever

  • Captivate is the best Galaxy S variant.

  • which one is better?!?!?!!? overall phone, i will be using it on at&t, exclude screen display, and android os.

  • can someone explain to me what froyo is ?

  • @ithree6mafia Froyo is what Android 2.2 is nicknamed

  • dada da da,daaa daa daa daaa dahdah dahdah daad daaa daa daaa daadadada

  • lol the first 15 seconds are funny

  • @Dr0MjNoOoN You have more thumbs up than the video :D

  • You aint running an official 2.2 beta by Samsung are you?

I was wondering cuz the autorotate disable button was missing and there was some lag here and there. Did you root your phone?

    btw pretty hardcore review.

  • @Dr0MjNoOoN

The first 15 seconds of this video is SICK! btw, wat song is that?

  • Enunciate Nexus properly! Not neck-sus, kneek-sus

  • Android 3.0 known as gingerbread is coming. Search it up

  • @Vinc3XEcniV are you serious? its been confirmed that gingerbread is 2.3 for over a month now

  • @brianv3ntura umm, The nexus S is coming out end of december and it has Android 2.3 gingerbread the latest one...made by samsung,

  • @Vinc3XEcniV and u said android 3.0 is known as gingerbread which has been known as 2.3 for a couple months now. and the nexus s comes out dec 16th. not the end of dec.

  • @brianv3ntura i live in the uk and it comes out 20th so i said end of december, and i think the first time i saw the gingerbread it said 3.0, but yeah i hope gingerbread comes to the nexus one

  • @Vinc3XEcniV It SUCKS PLEASE DON'T GET IT. SAMSUNG ARE TERRIBLE! IF YOU SAW THE GALAXY S ITS JUST A ANDROID IPHONE PLEASE GET HTC!

  • @cookieshort what are you talking about, sure iit sucks with 2.1 but update it to 2.2, and it beasts the nexus one, thats not me being a fanboy, i dnt even hve a galaxy s but ive seen it with 2.2 and its fucking blazing fast. the only downside is the ugly widgets on it. but that SAMOLED screen makes up 4 that :)

  • I know I'm a little late to the post... but the front of the captivate is Scratch/Impact resistant Glass made by Corning. Called Gorilla Glass... It's the same type of glass used in military helicopter windscreens.

  • CAN YOU WATCH FLASH MOVIES FROM WEB ON STANDARD SAMSUNG GALAXY S ON ANDROID 2.1?

  • Nope.

  • @Dr0MjNoOoN 20 ;) Theres already a title =)

  • Captivate. 'nuff said.

  • Thumps up if u think NEXUS ONE BETTER

  • Thumps up if u think captivate BETTER

  • You sound like you're yelling at us. Kinda like billy mays, and the oxyclean ad.

  • @MKVTS You know, it doesnt bother me. Its sounds authoritative, and I guess I might be used to that from a business environment. I guess if one was a curtain fabric designer and was watching an iPhone review, a soft voice(with lisp) would be more fitting.

  • @Dr0MjNoOoN so whut fag

  • Your startup video is stupidly long.

  • super amoled display looks REALLY GREAT !! :-)

  • Sorry my volume was set too high:-) Nice review btw

  • Like he said "we don't need that" too loud man

  • INTRO IS STUPID

  • Dude, you are screaming at the camera. Calm down. I don't know if you just yell when you're nervous, or that's just your normal voice, but it was disconcerting to say the least.

  • Holy crap, stop yelling at the camera, this isn't a boxing match.. And the intro was god damn annoying.

    Otherwise, good video.

  • @Dr0MjNoOoN it's kinda funny though, you've gotta admit.

  • Very in depth. i like it. I cant wait till Captivate gets 2.2 :D

  • pzl try talking a little to the point

  • IS the samsung captivate getting over the air update to froyo?

  • This narrator sounds exactly like the actor Robert Forster from the movie Jackie Brown. I keep picturing him throughout the video.

  • Samsung Captivate is coming to Rogers very soon, I can't wait. I was at the bell launch of their galaxy s vibrant.

  • Multi touch is only on the samsung keyboard too.

  • OMG look at captivate. How bad the AT&T signal is

  • When is the samsung captivate getting froyo 2.2

  • @XxR3TR0xP3NGU1NxX

The Nexus One will recive Android 3.0 Gingerbread , in October and the middle calss highend phones will recive 2.2 froyo ( Galaxy S , Desire , EVO 4g etc. ). In February / March 2011 highend Android phones will recive Gingerbread ( those with 1Ghz CPU ) , and those under 1Ghz will remain to 2.2. Low end phones will remain to 1.5 or 1.6 . In February 2011 , The Nexus will also recive an update to Gingerbread ( possible 3.1 OS ).

  • I noticed that the nexus one colors bounce off the wall into other direcxtions while the captivate one just keeps going look closer not the same wall paper

  • @fredizzle23 wrong

  • @fredizzle23 wrong

  • @mordwink yea my eyes played tricks on me hey do you know if by any chance the Vibrant can get the 3D rolodex menu that the NEXUS one has that looks like it rolls the apps over n over

  • this isnt the real galaxy S !!!!

  • @NeverSCARED94

    Its at&t's version of it...

  • N1 still has alot more has the ability to be rooted easily has a camera flash and noise cancellation this guy should run the n1 with launcherpro or adw would look and run faster in my opinion.. froyo stock still isnt that great of a launcher compared the free ones you get in market.

  • i hope nexus one is good because u get the update of android OS easily

if u go for samsung then u need to wait for very long time to get the update

    so go for nexus one

  • iPhone 4 32 Gigabyte black is still the best

  • @daivenluo

lulz get out of here fanboy

  • can you turn off the light blips grid? makes it look like a cheap toy after 2 minutes. iOS4 is much superior.

  • That 3.7 AMOLED screen on the N1 is made by Samsung. :)

  • Dude's the intro is totally needed

    PHONE REVIEWS ARE FUCKING HARDCORE!

    Queue the heavy music.

  • Holy Crap that Captivate Screen really POPS!

  • really a 20 sec intro?

  • @Dr0MjNoOoN lmao its called an introduction. everything has one lol lol

  • getting the nexus one next month got it orderd shit dutch vodafone doesn't have it in stock

  • God this video can cause seizures!

  • Captivate ftw!!!!!!

  • alot of useles rambling on stats which can be read and compare online.

  • can you get stock android menus on the epic?

  • @Dr0MjNoOoN rofl so true

  • Check out my channel with now featured videos, nexus one will continue to slay all phones due to support android 2.2, bad thing is, most reviewers make the nexus one look plain and dull (due to not knowing how to use it), go to my channel and see how a nexus one is really used by a user and not just a reviewer. His brightness on the nexus one is too low, sigh.

  • Way to have no signal of either phone :P

  • was that nexus one on AT&T?

  • @GraysonBowen24 It's an unlocked GSM phone for At&t or T mobile

  • Once Froyo hits the Samsung Captivate, IT'S GONNA BECOME EVEN MORE OF A BEAST THAN IT ALREADY IS.

  • @lanedek And then Nexus will have gingerbread.

  • @lanedek The only reason why I'm not crazy about it anymore is because of the lack of front facing camera.

  • with the touchwiz UI on top of android, u can also add/remove home screens

  • wow, the S-AMOLED makes even the nexus one's AMOLED looked washed out, wow very impressive ! plus one thing to note is that samsung phones have the largest codec support of any phone , they play divx ,avi, mkv mpeg wmv flac etc.... the multi-media capabilities of the galaxy s phones is impressive

  • do you know what's going on with the Verizon version of the Galaxy phone i.e. "Fascinate" is it slow to come out because it will need to be a CDMA phone? your thoughts

  • use the original samsung please

  • damn that flash video played smoothly thought it would b a lil choppy

  • I just noticed that you do alot of smartphone faceoffs. Could you do a Gameloft game comparison between the Iphone4 and the Captivate? Games like "Hawx", "Nova", "Asphalt" are great 3D games for a graphics showdown between the 2 best AT&T phones. I think they share similar processors and GPUs- so would be an interesting comparison. Pleease!

  • Nice comparison for a part 1.

I dont know if you mentioned the composite TV-out on the captivate, Hummingbird processor, Fast GPU or the upcoming Froyo update.

    Saving that for part 2.

  • @beerthax Hah No samsung galaxy s series phone has a TV comp out why the hell would they do that...

  • @atom069 cause it's a lot better than Mini-Locked down HDMI, not to mention old iPod or nokia Tv-out cables work so you don't need to buy new ones just for the phone

  • @atom069 Tv out is through the headphone jack. 3.5mm to video.

  • Why compare with the Samsung Captivate?
