I can understand why Canadians might oppose the Queen but her role is very much watered down. She doesn't sign off laws in the UK because she wants them, as a figurehead her signature is ceremonial. She ratifys the democratically elected politicians who then do what they want to in parliament. SHe isn't at all political. That is why royals speaking out on political issues causes such controversy.

@bilstonjay I realize that. I'm not speaking against the Queen herself in this video, but rather the Queen as representative of the state in general.
