  • Is there a law restricting to a certain length wb?

  • I could not imagine making a right turn in that thing..

  • hey bro all i gotta say that is a sweet fricken truck i run a pete 379 and one day i would love to make it look as sweet as yours, how long did it take you to get it looking that sweet

  • Alright truck but you can squeeze like 3 drop axles between the sleeper and the drive axles lol

  • Hey bro ! All I gotta say is sweet fucken ride ! Where do you normally haul and where you from? just curious. I'm Canadian and want to build my own W900L with the longest wheel base possible. It just looks so awesome! You must of put alot of money in that? I want my own truck and trailer but dont know where to start ? Already driving for a compagny in Ottawa but I want to start my own ! I would love to see that truck at the Rodeo here, you'd be a total legend if you'd brought that down here!!!

  • BEAUTIFUL truck and I LOVE long frames, but........isn't 350" a bit MUCH? Just my humble opinion.....but I can't take anything away from it. It's a super-cool lookin' rig, man. Congrats and GL with it.

  • just one question, what is the meaning of the rear sitting so far back. im thinking isnt ita bit more tricky to cut around corners. please reply. this is not a hate comment, just currious.

  • i wanna see this truck.. where are you guys at?

  • I dont care what anyone says. That truck is a sex machine. Its so simple its sophisticated. So plain but yet it sticks out. Great work man

  • I love EVERYTHING about that truck!

  • now THATS a extended chasis! sweet rig!

  • love this truck dont worry about jealous comments this is alot of money rolling thumbs up r.ls.

  • The truck looks amazing, and as you said before I have no idea what the purpose is for the strecth and I was hoping it would be explained but I did not see it. SO I was wondering if you could tell me? But again thats a good looking truck.

  • I dont even know why I would waste my time responding to the tool bags...but here goes...I wasnt backing into dock dummies, I was pulling out...btw, it is a very tight spot for any truck...I can get into ANY dock with 350" wb and 48' spread ANY day...thank you girls...thanks for the positive comments....for the rest of the tools that don't understand why it's so long, it's because you have no idea what your looking at...it's like me judging a dog show...:)

  • @on2itt now getting project 350 and that 53" into Saunderstown RI , now thats something else the streets around here aren't made for anyhting close to that big , and if you came up the road I think you came up heading out of Saunderstown ,that tight ass whiding road that brings you upto rt1 and onto 138 , if you came across that way your the shit !

  • I don't get some of these comments what's the difference between this and what some of those van line guys got same wheelbase just the sleeper size is different that's all btw love the truck

  • All u people complaining about the length he didn't build it to be practical

  • screw that haters lol @ the internet truckers

  • dude nice truck but I agree the stretch is retarded. people might think that looks cool but 99% of truckers will look at that and think your an idiot. And as for tight spots my guess is that you have never been out of the desert states with that truck. shorten that bad boy up and it would be sweet lookin AND practical.

  • @sonnyleeis2 Im an idiot bro...

  • I Love the truck! but... the strech is just retarded. .... yes I am a truck driver.. but has gone way to long! lol!.. how can D.O.T. allow this????????

  • Tight Dock? You're kidding right? You ought to go work Brooklyn with me.

  • they let a nine year old drive that?

  • Ah tight dock? LOL

  • LOL, Cant even back it up....haha. All that room, strait shot and can't even hit the dock. Should of had your wife back it in instead of filming you..... Trade places next time :)

  • No offence, but what's the point to have the chassis that long?

  • @duffbitch There is no point other than looks. Just like there is no point to having dual stacks, they just look good.

  • that is a sick truck but how in the hell do you drive it through a town?

  • @sophmooreswimmer very carefully...

  • in europe you would need a police escort for these kind of things

  • This truck looks pissed off ! I love it.

  • The truck is pissed off because someone streched out the WB way too long and the driver cant back it up....LOL

  • Had a yellow/orange one in our tire shop today for a flat on the trailer. Cool.

  • @puppet6475II when the truck has a longer wheelbase, it is easier to drive and the tractor trailer has a better ride then when the truck isn't stretched. Also, Spread Axles have a better ride because the the weight is distriputed more evenly so when you hit a bump, it's more plush. It looks great too, so it's a win win situation for the truckers lol

  • Man, talk about a forty acre field truck… It's all good though it looks great. Sometimes I miss being on the road.

  • haha, it needs an airfielt to turn around :D

  • needs 10 wheel steer

  • Thats a wicked ride man , looks good and clean . Have you ever noticed someone who gives the negativity is the ones we cuss on the highway or make fun of because they werent cuddled as a child ? I say stretch em, chop em lower em and drive em , I love my rig and could careless who likes it its our trucks right ? Roll on like thunder , see ya on the highway

  • in europe with this only on the motorway

  • @puppet6475II and your an idiot. these trucks look awesome like this. and if he did have a big sleeper on the back it would probably add over 10,000 pounds of weight. making it even more pointless than this

  • you can only get away with this with a Pete or a Kenworth.Sort of impractical for an everyday work truck, but it's the coolest thing to go cruising with.

  • cool, but why does it need to be that long. i know what its for hauling large or long loads, but i mean thats LONG what loads does it haul?

  • Rich you keep doing your thing, sick truck by the way, I was hoping to catch a glimps of it on the few trips that I made up there but had no luck. All the ppl talking crap you have no clue as to why we do things the way we do, when i look at this truck i see alot of hard work, hard earned money, and alot of pride that went into it , look at the details and take it for what it is, also nobody has the right to talk down about how somebody uses there money unless your an accountant. just my 2 cents

  • @puppet6475II and its why a country full of people like you give us a bad name. this shows alot of work and pride.

  • i like this truck it looks cool with the long frame .i bet it rides and drives great .good job r.l.s.

  • where are the airlines at

  • I bet a bus would havew a better turning circle than your 350!! Keep the bugs of your shield and the bears off your tail!

  • Thanks for all the comments...specially the hate ones...those are my favorite...:)!!!

  • @on2itt Is the wheelbase length strictly for looks? Or is there some other benefit?

  • @on2itt Most of the guys dumping on the rig are the ones who 1st seen a truck when they shelled out 6K for truck driving school and only do it to make a check. I really dont see any comments from the ones who have been doing this all their lives and been building and wrenching on the trucks they drive and own. And doing for the love... And well money too lol.

I am one of those few who love this. And I for one have a lot of respect for what you built and you working it.

  • @on2itt keep dat hammer down im 10-10 on da side and keep trucking with that work of art

  • what a stoopid as truck. what the fuck is that shit good for anyway?

  • @rdlx3m you mean "stupid" and "ass" yes? nice one bud.

  • @puppet6475II they sometimes need long wheelbase like that for hauling large and long loads so that the load dont hit the from of the truck.

  • @hohochris24 No..you would never NEED a wheelbase that long. Yeah ok, depending on what you're hauling, you'd need a longer wheelbase than stock...but seriously, this is just overkill and pointless.

  • @no1doesitlikeme yes its a lil bit of a over kill but there is times u will need it if hauling large things ... but maybe today this guy wasnt hauling large things.. just so happen it got caught on tape

  • This is a great example of how people are free to do what ever they want with thier money, and it is also a great example of how I am free to laugh at them for doing something stupid with it.

  • ive seen that truck going down the road

    nice rig

  • is there a point to that? i dont get it

  • @puppet6475II

best comment i've read in ages... keep it up!

  • @puppet6475II That IH is a pretty beastly looking. We dont do OTR we are just a big farm, and have 6 trucks, 2 FLD Freightliners, a T600 KW (our "farm trucks") and 3 379 EXHD Peterbilt's. It definitely is nice to run the longer wheel bases that we do, we are close to canada and they are limited to 245". Yall are crazy with your huge ass road trains though, pretty much awesome

  • @puppet6475II everyone has there opinions, and for our trucks we have 265" wheel bases and one with 270" which has a pusher on it, this truck is probably too long, but i will say you would pay me enough to take a truck with shorter than a 245" that would be a farm truck in my book, our 265"s are wonderful ride amazing and just work great for everything

  • Man SWEET truck! some plp keep crying that you waste your money but enh, if you got some its yours you earned and now GO SPEND it! Im building myself a dodge puller..I got a 12V and atm we are doing the body work.

    NICE TRUCK!

    peace

  • @puppet6475II say what you want about long wheel bases but if you want a good looking truck a studio sleeper should not be added, small flat tops or day cab is where true style is at

  • well driver i have seen u a lot of times in virginia a lot and all i can say is sharp ride driver

  • That Trucks Longer Then A Cold Winter on Welfare!

  • @puppet6475II Well hes owned more than one truck and trailer. All have been nice as hell and kept up great. Been in tons of shows.. He seems to be doing ok. I guess he knows his stuff huh..? I would think so. Seeing he built it from scratch up and hes driving it every day....

  • should be pullin bullrack with that truck instead of a refer

  • could you imagine how long it took him to back that in there

  • Why do semis like that have such long frames on them. all i can see in it is makeing it harder to get around in.

  • @JDFarmBoy93 im not being but in his case its like that so when he gos to a show

that where he puts his motorcycle so thats why i seen with the bike in that space before

  • Hey i saw u down in orangetown new york like 4 months ago truck looks sweet in the real

  • guess that truck will never see NYC with a trailer, haha

  • it is a nice looking truck though

  • beautiful Pete. Great job on it

  • that truck is far too long, makes it look stupid and ugly, which is a real shame, becouse otherwise ist a black jewl

  • It says pulling out of a tight dock huh

  • The good news is I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to gieco. The bad new is ( I ain't got no panties on) But all kidding aside... It's a nice truck!!! 5 stars!!

  • If I had a frame that long, I think I'd have a bigger sleeper...like, with all the amenities of home.

  • That is a really sharp looking truck, driver.

  • don't get me wrong you guys, i like american trucks..but i don't see the point in making extending them this much or is it to extend te cabin further back? not from usa so that's why i ask..sorry if i upset anyone here

  • @NeloGSX

Its his home away from well, home.. a mobile home you see; so he may put a sleeper on the rear, and 2 more tanks... A few american trucks have large sleepers as alot of work is cross country, but I just think its because they arnt the smallest of truckers :P

  • looks nice but why would you extend it like a roll back?

  • Looks only, and ride.

  • I don't think the dock is tight....I think the truck is long. Nice ride though.

  • big conventional style trucks with long frames look awesome. nice...

  • Well said SlickD217

  • Damn Bro, lookin' good! Takes skill to drive that Bad Ass Rig.

  • Johnsenkenn-we americans take pride in what we do"alot of us"and even though it takes a little more skill to drive a stretched rig,it goes to show that the driver cares about his craft and is able to control his rig.Bet you drive a day cab with crunched in cab extenders,GO JB GO.

  • @SlickD217 i will admit it is a nice rig, but it has nothing to do with americans taking pride in what they do and everything to do with being the best peacock in the bunch, and lol more skill?really? more space maybe but thats bout it..

  • @DemonJunkie I'm with you on this one. It is a bad ass truck. But It's a bad ass truck that should only be used for truck shows. It's kind of like having a bagged and body dropped S10 with 22s and a $12,000 paint job and then using that truck to deliver pizzas. It's just stupid. And I can't believe DOT would even let that truck on the road with I sitting that low and it being almost as long as the trailer. No body's hatting on you or the truck, we just think you using it for work is stupid.

  • @TwistedRides Why is it stupid. I had a T600 stretched out to 300" and I ran the road and pulled a side dump with it. I made a great living. I dont understand people like you. The guy owns a working show truck and makes a living. Wow that it soooo stupid.

  • to: on2itt

so what do you tell back to D.O.T when it comes to inspection at the weight station???(in some case i wonder if its legal) and does it fit on cat scale?? how do you balance or make it weight even on the whole rig??? i got to say your truck is BAD ASS, i plan to own one too, and nice work on getting out of dock.... please i need advice - "c"

  • Looks good. Ide like to see a bullwagon hooked up behind it.

  • Why such a long frame? Do you haul steel on a flat beed sometimes?

  • might as well put a wrecker body on the back... it has the length... but good looking pete

  • lol......

  • 48 ft trailer? aint haulin too much

  • because it looks killer nice truck man

  • Why can it be that you have those long tractors in the US, with a lot of empty space, it's useless.

  • need to start pulling decks with that kinda length then ya dont need to mess with loading docks lol.

  • Dude your rig is Sweet and all but its just to long!

  • Are you aloud in NY, city with this beautiful rig

  • beautiful truck. but i gotta ask. where is your center caps and lug covers bro?

  • When you got a blacked out truck like that I think it looks better with no hub covers. as a matter of fact i would put black lugs on it too.

  • understood bro. very nice ride tho.

  • beautiful truck.. i love the "got frame" attitude they did with this one. Only it seems a TID BIT long to go into most any dock ive been in. one thing people dont see is.. you add a huge sleeper to a truck that length you add ALOT of weight. this MAY only weigh 500-1000lbs more then a totally stock pete. having a long truck dont make up for size in other areas.. grow up people. as the one guy said.. this is a lifestyle.. people show their taste in different manners.. again.. love the truck

  • looks like u aint gotta worry about turning too much and hitting the cab!

jus a question y get a truck that long? more weight? or jus for looks?

  • Shit the only use i see for that is to throw a 24 ft logan bed on there and haul taters outta the field

  • Just saw him today NB on 81 in PA. This thing looks sick goin down the road. I tried to holler at him on the CB but no comeback.

  • Ya, I saw it this past spring headin' east in OH on the toll road. Needed a bath and a new stack. A few lights were out, too. Was out working hard.

  • if you dont get it dont ask cuz you still wont get it trucking is a life style not just a truck or a job

  • Comment removed

  • for yungdad 89- its a diesel numbnuts

for diveplane- easily drivable for your "everyday truck haul", "son", if you know what youre doing. and the whole small pee pee thing gets old, no one cares about small dick if you drive somethin like this

  • im with justin3815..just cuz u drive for england hunt or swift and u have no capability of driving such a beautiful work of art SHUT THE FUCK UP! :)

  • That truck does look nice, but I would not like the long frame on it, if i had a long frame like that, i would but a huge sleeper on it.

  • lol u waste more gas tryna get out of the parking lot than you would actually driving that dang thing

  • totally fuckin stupid looking , and not practical for everyday truck haul

big truck = small pee pee son

  • @diveplane hey asshole you are just jealous because you drive some pos lease truck from like prime or cr england and can only go 56 mph down hill fully loaded

totally cool truck it looks even better in person

  • Seems like its too long to have a purpose. that large vacant area is just a waste. other than that It looks awsome.

  • is that a city truck?

  • Long!!!

  • where did you get the trailer from?

  • thats one frickn long truck!!!!! its the longest pete ive evr seen!!!!!

  • If it is your truck you would know that you shouldn't bring it anywhere that you might not be able to get it out of.. That is a highway rig.. Way to long of a frame for city driving..

  • How did u make it that long, is that the original length?

  • Sometimes you cut the frame, insert new lenghts, then you can weld it together, bolt it together, or both

  • he ordered it that way new from the factory, 350 inch

  • hey Richie i am the son of one of the two canadians that were at the show this year

but man that is a real nice ride.

  • just for show //????????LOL???

  • gonzalez454,

his truck is show and work

i seen it 3 times on the road

  • It wasn't a tight dock, the rig is to long. LOL

    Just playin, cool rig!!

  • Hey on2itt, might i ask why you built this? a gorgeous truck imho , BUT is there a reason why? or is it "just because" again ill say a beutiful machine there. BTW do you have any incab shots or vids of this one or 351 or any others?

  • anybody who talks bad about this truck is just jelous this truck is freakin awesome if u dont like it then dont leave a message

  • Stupid trucker with the stupid truck. This is a show truck .

  • whats your problem?

  • You go to the Walmart DC in Tomah, WI often?

i used to work there and saw a truck very similar if not yours alot

  • How many hours did it get you to get in?

  • sweet truck. Would look great with a flat bed pulling some supper long loads

  • Guy is a tool.

  • agreed

  • What are the length limits for semi's in the states?. We (aussies) are allowed 19.5 meters or 63.9 ft . Nice rig , but not very practical . How do you see over the bonnet with your seat that low??

  • whats the point of having the tractor that long??? just looks or is there actually something to it??? jw

  • i agree im wondering too

  • I wouldnt have the paitient to drive that every day.She got the looks that kill though!!!

  • CANT THEY BUILD BIGGER DOCKS

  • Docks Fine. Be simple easy if truck had a shorter wheelbase. You wanna see small docks come cheak out tegal load out in henderson, auckland. in new zealand

  • the truck came from peterbilt orderd thatway 350 inch the first custom stuff was done at petrbilt of kansas city. u guys should know what ur talking about befor u show u ass by talking out of it

  • Richie needs 40 acres to turn his rig around!! Love it!

  • thats a beast truck

  • i belive the truck started life as a car hauler and was made into what it is. Thats why the frame is long its very beautiful

  • ether that or a tow truck

  • moron could not dump the rear axle to get out......ha,,,ha,,,to much truck for him,,,,amature

  • looks good but it's not really manageable. definately not a city truck

  • this long frame is really useful if you're pullin chickens you're far enough away so you don't have to smell them!

  • Now that's funny.lol!!!

  • All i can say is BAD ASS. Keep on trucking brother

  • take about 8ft out of the frame and you could drive it

  • the longer the better my friend

  • too long of a wheel base but othrer than the bad ass

  • I like it, Truck is bad ass, I just wouldnt wana pull with it. BUT id drive that thing to a show ANY DAY. Love it

  • jeez buddy u got one hell of a wheelbase

  • 1st of all who would want a frame that long it makes it look stupid and ugly

  • okay you obviously dont know trucks dude...alot of guys stretch their frames..i heartily disagree it looks awesome!

  • It looks awesome..tell me you cant take notice to this truck first at say a truck stop...thats the point.

  • is having a frame that long worth goin threw all that trouble.

  • why is the frame so long dont tell me its just for looks

  • Comment removed

  • thank GOD for power steering.

  • noooo thank engineers for power steering

  • i dont know how anyone would hav a contract with u or hire u with that truck. its useless, backin out like that. the time and fuel spent over a couple yrs of that could be high.

  • shut up ahole

  • fuck you, thats a show truck, not a work horse.

  • (the truck, I mean)

  • what year was this made?

  • why do your vids cut off right at the most exciting part !??

  • Thats a Horny lookin' ride,is it a 350" wheel base?

  • But what happens when it rains. Are there a drain in the bottom of the pipes?

  • are you a complete retard

  • If that`s your real age on your profile, I hope your fucking proud of yourself. Writing comments like a 14 year old haha. Get a life "

    demarteleare"

  • u really think theres a drain in the stack and you call me a retard

  • just teaches stupid americans that if you build a truck 20ft long then have a stupidly long 50ft trailer on it you can't get the prick out of dock and crap

i will admit it's anice cruising truck but for practical real truck driving like us drivers do it just sucks
