On the album, "You're Not Alone" where this appears, the vocals were done by Gary St. Clair. I do not believe that this is he from what Roy says at the end of the clip.
One time that I saw Roy, I believe that Billy Price from Pittsburgh was touring with him, and I guess that is why I hear Price as the voice of Roy Buchanan.
This show that you have posted clips from is great but it is playing fast...about a full step sharp. If you can access the original format you can fix that and Roy's playing will benefit. Everything is chipmonk-y and if you want, I can do it here in Nashville if you send me the tapes ( or whatever you have). Please respond and let me know what you'd like to do. Vince

Roy spoke through his music- yes the talent but the pain killed him- the days of? know Roy from George Town- a great friend-he always gave me a front sit--the best -he was fighting alot of demons-he lost but his spirit is strong
The guitar is unbelievably brilliant, the singing and arrangement unbelievably awful. Poor Roy, I never figured him out after almost 40 years from first hearing him. The late, great Danny Gatton played with some miserable pick up bands as well. Where's the justice?
Roy was probably the greatest under-rated guitarist ever!!!

@rhymesofpassion Vince!
Messaged you back about the clips, once again, it's awesome that you found this, and thanks for your assistance, you rock!
Hope we can figure something out to improve the accuracy of this show.
Cheers, love your drumming.
