In Austin everybody rides bikes and the majority of them ride fixed. Everybody that trains all year with Lance Armstrong whos riding fixed and brakeless too. They actually have a bike expressway in Austin with no stop lights or signs for people without brakes now.

I'm very secure about who I am. I'm not trying to impress anybody. Most people that ride fixed get way more negative responses then positive ones and nobody ever stops. What I am concerned about though is what drives people who are trying to remain anonymous while insulting everybody. Baffles me. And I found out who you were in less then a minute. I googled it just to make sure you were the homophobic stereotypical suburban white guy with a generic last name that I thought you were.

Track bikes are great because they can be used to do tricks or commute. You can't commute on a BMX without having your knees hit your chin while looking like a bum.

Why do you girls always compare BMX to track bikes? I don't even own a BMX and I think fixies are gay. My freeride can do way cooler tricks and I can commute on it as well. The best part is, I don't have to paint my frame pink and my wheels green to try to look cool like you boys who wear girls pants in the hopes of impressing someone. I'm getting tired of how people always have to mention "Get a BMX". I mean I understand that BMX are trick bikes and fixed are for traffic commute etc. But still you don't know how much time people put in to get to with their tricks ON A FIXED GEAR. Give them props instead of the criticism and trying to convince a fixie rider into converting to a BMX rider.

why would someone spend so much money on an hed 3 rim, when you can get one that is much stronger and not much heavier for much less? At least aerospokes (while heavy as shit) won't make your head explode when you look at the price.
