Here's how I view the fight: Raph won the battle, Leo won the war.

It wasn't shown in the clip, but Leo tells Raph that he is impatient and that his emotions get the best of him and that these are the reasons why he is not ready to call his own shots. When they battle, Raph's emotions get the best of him and he almost kills his brother. He realizes this and then understands what Leo was saying. He then proceeds to run away in humiliation and shame.

Raph won the battle, but Leo won the war.

awesoem battle.. not realyl goign to debate whos better.. but to be honest.. leo was being hindered knowing he was fightign his brother while raph was just focusign on wanting to beat him so badly.. leo should of gotten out of that lock as soon as it happened. Besides wer emsisign hte point.. it was how anger clouds our judgement. Raph admits to messing up.. an dbefore leo knew it was his brother.. he was owning him wih no effort at all.. cause he had a clear mind.

As far as sheer skill is concerned, it's probably unkown as to who's best of them all in what they do overall, because they can always let what flaws them get in the way of fighting. In the end, I think it all came down to their use of their respective weapons in this particular fight, and Raph, being as determined as he was to prove to Leo that he's the better fighter, ultimately triumphed. Also, sais are usually used specifically for what Raph used them for; breaking the blade of a sword.

It's a good point...I think it was a combination of things. Leo wasnt about to kill his own brother. If you saw this movie leo is constantly trying to talk him out of this fight. You also learn that raph wasnt going to kill his brother as well because after he breaks his swords he runs away.
