Im 22 and I got braces on the 3rd Aug 2009. They are a bit painful in the beginning, but you quickly get used to them. I just wish they would move quicker. Good luck with it all, and hopefully in a years time, we will both have nice teeth x
I like your videos, im getting braces Aug 5 2009, Im quite a bit older than you (43) and ive had a severe overbite all my life, so getting that corrected will be nice and Im sure it will change my overall appearance. I have to have two teeth pulled one on each side behind my "eye" teeth, to make room for my teeth to come back and align. I want to start a video journal of my experience as well, alot of adults may think its too late to get braces, but I hope they look into it.
No, I am having the normal metal ones, I think they are too crooked for Invisalign. They should be fitted in a few weeks. I have just got to get 4 teeth taken out first!
I'm 27 and I had braces put on 3 months ago. It's actually not that scary for adults with braces. Are you getting Damon style self litigating braces, or the older rubber band type? Usually you don't need teeth removed with the newer Damon style. Good luck with everything
It's the older style i think. As you can see from my video my teeth are really crowded so need the 4 out to give some room, i dont mind though. Its not so much about it being scary I think it's more about it not being that common as most braces are on teenagers! I am very excited about getting them!
