I have a brother that is a drill instructor in the marines. He knew personally people that have died. I asked him as recently as 3 months ago how he views the war. He still supports it. If he were to die in combat over there, I would eventually have to accept it as decision that he made.

Hey, the circular nature of youtube brought me back to this post. We are both right, It's all or nothing. I'll be honest, before the war I saw the signs that said "Free Iraq" I wasn't caught up in the WMD's. That was the only argument that stuck with liberals. Now I realize that the US will never win another war again.
We can not win a "sanitary" war, but we have no choice now. We have committed to it. So if we pull out, I say, again, fuck everyone else. This is no conspiracy theory. The financial ties outlined in the video are facts. If you have facts that prove otherwise, please provide them (my sources are at the end of part 2). It will be cause for celebration as you will be the first out of over 15000 viewers to do so.
The bombshells distract from the main message - their frivolity and the gravity of the subject matter don't mix.. they dilute the message rather than add to it. The video would be more impacting without them, I think.
Seriously though, I just found I wasn't concentrating as much on the message as I might have done so I don't recall it as clearly. I think the message is pretty powerful and shocking in itself so it doesn't need the girls (which make the vid more fun and, therefore, less shocking and memorable for the right reasons! :-) ).

Is all the stuff in this video true? Here in the U.K., no one knows anything about any of this, and nostromoau makes it sound as though it is common knowledge. I'd always guessed that there were elements of corruption, but I never had any clue that it was as serious as any of the things put forward here. I guess the reason no British people are aware of anything is the 'special relationship' between us that keeps us all pro American; that and the Atlantic. Is any of this well known in the U.S?

I have a brother that is a drill instructor in the marines. He knew personally people that have died. I asked him as recently as 3 months ago how he views the war. He still supports it. If he were to die in combat over there, I would eventually have to accept it as decision that he made.

I consider myself a libertarian. For the most part, I say fuck everyone else, don't deploy troops, and pull back all troops overseas. On the other hand, what about all the people that need our forces, because no one is looking out for them? It's all or nothing for me. Do we let the rest of the world deal with their own dictators? We can't even go back to the Clinton policy, deploying troops 40 to 50 times in 8 years under a blue helmet. What is the significance of the pictures of semi-naked women (apart from the flimsy "bombshells" reference) in this anti-war/anti-Bush video? I'm not sure it's appropriate to punctuate (uncredited) pictures of dead servicemen and women with these rather chauvenistic images. Otherwise, an interesting piece of journalism imho. Merry Xmas - if that's what you do.

Great job! If/when America comes to its senses Bush/Cheney will be facing criminal charges of treason.
Ideally Impeachment will happen in 2007; but even if that bit of justice is denied...the investigation and promulgation of the truth will continue as long as there is civilization on earth.

You DO go to war with the army you have you dolt. Typically, the US Army has always been 10 years behind when compared to civilian technology. It's always been that way. That doesn't mean there was any disservice to our troops. I was in the Gulf War and our technology wasn't cutting edge either but no one complained.Are you a veteran? What dog do you have in that hunt? I'm certainly not satisfied with VA, but Clinton is responsible for the sad shape it is in now.

I don't get you guys. You're pissed off because I'm mad that our government doesn't supply you with the best equipment available? I didn't realize that the US Army is 10 years behind, which makes it even worse. And you aren't satisfied with the VA because of Clinton? BushCo has been in power for 6 years. If they can write and pass the patriot act as quickly as they did, they could have taken steps to protect the troops better. Don't yell at me...yell up the chain of command.

I support our troops under any circumstances. However, your video is well done. The composition is excellent and the content is very thought provoking. I appreciate your time and effort. I do not question your integrity, but would appreciate some documentation of facts. While the pin-up girls were not necessary, I certainly enjoyed them. Good work. God bless the USA. NO, owned as in KBR is not even a publicly held company yet. This is about sending Americans to die for the benefit of pocketing taxpayer money for your own personal interests. Research the history of LOGCAP contracts and ask yourself why Cheney was so eager to privatize military services, why he acquired Dresser Industries (at a time when it faced one of the largest liability lawsuits in history for asbestos related illnesses), and who was rescued from his orchestrations.

The bombshells distract from the main message - their frivolity and the gravity of the subject matter don't mix.. they dilute the message rather than add to it. The video would be more impacting without them, I think.

Seriously though, I just found I wasn't concentrating as much on the message as I might have done so I don't recall it as clearly. I think the message is pretty powerful and shocking in itself so it doesn't need the girls (which make the vid more fun and, therefore, less shocking and memorable for the right reasons! :-) ).
