Imagine walking in a line of people naked, humiliated, abused..and at the end of the line is an incinerator.Or hiding inside a mud hut after watching a crowd of men hack your parents to pieces with matchetes..and then they find you.Or villages lined up against the wall forced to watch their wives and daughters being raped, beheaded and then later all being tortured and killed.Tell me then, can I still apply the SECRET. The secret is flawed just as is human nature.
@BOLDBILLY yeah that would be really awful :( and I don't know what I'd do in the same circumstance, it would be very easy to just give up through sheer helplessness and depression.
I read a great book called Man's Search for Meaning (by Viktor E. Frankl) which showed how he survived years of concentration camps, by finding reasons to live.
Not enough characters allowed to summarize it here, but I do recommend it as it shows how one person at least, survived such hard times.
