Transformers Animated Cybertron-Mode Megatron

Good thing I always display in robot mode. And thanks for showing that the cannon is removable. I thought it wasn't and was super disappointed for a few minutes.

My favorite thing about this toy is that there is almost no back kibble. back kibble is the bane of my existence.

Tip, I pull the back kibble buttflap off and flip it over so it folds against his back. That way it hides his less than lovely back design and he can now sit without problems.

Im planning on getting both cybertron and earth mode megatron. As far as Cybertron jet mode goes for him, yeah it does suck however I have plans to study the figures form and parts so I can make it look close enough or identical to his jet mode in the cartoon. It just might be my first vid.

Firing the missile backwars reminds me of the Relient from Star Trek 2... The ship had a tarpedo tubes in the back. But yeah it sucks... Megatron's forms are reduced to this!? I miss his gun mode....

This toy is ugly! If he was real, Megatron would growl in shame & disgust before blasting Hasbro HQ into smithereens! >;)

i cant decide whether to pick him up or not, im a completionest so i try and and get every figure in the line except for repaints of the same figure, like i didnt get movie stealth bumblebee but i got movie cliffjumper cus hes a different character, i allready have the other two animated megatrons though

Other than the awkward design for the arm/cannon attachment, the rest of the robot mode looks stunningly appealing. It carries the same animated style as the rest of the line, but yet it has a much more artistic look to it. I just love the way they designed the lower body, with the "knee cap" covering the otherwise thin thigh typical of the animated figures (which is one of my least favorite things about the new animated design).

Sounds like Megatron has some serious arthritis. His alt mode is a Cybertronian paperweight. Nice review but I will pass on this.

I personally find his alt mode to be pretty slick. :3

His robot mode is even better. I dig his legs and the massive fusion cannon, but I'm really disliking how the cannon is actually attached to his arm. I was hoping it would be more like the G1 Megatron had it, but meh. I'll consider picking up this Megatron if I can find it in stores. :3

Hey Jesse first off your set up and lighting looks AMAZING Very High Quality.

I agree the alt mode is very weird but the robot mode ROCKS! I have all the figures from wave 1, 2 and most of wave 3 and I recommend voyager Prime, Grimlock, and Starscream as the best Voyagers.

As thorough and informative a review as I've seen. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to notice how badly the alt-mode sucks; it simply doesn't look like ANYTHING, either from the real world or from the world of the show, but the bot mode is a thing of beauty. That said, I'll still be holding out for Leader Megatron, which has an even nicer robot mode, and a great alt mode to boot...
