SI3 Showcase - Jay Chris and Jason Bueno Project

I really liked this project, and the only reason people think this is biting is because of the masks & gloves. Anyone can wear masks & gloves; it's the choreo that matters, and I didn't see a anything that resembled the Jabbawockeez crew, so get over it. Jay-Chris & J Bueno, you guys are amazing. You should really consider putting together another project, seriously.

jabba have established their characters on stage to be mysterious, awkward, and "from another planet"...i think that's why there's so many similarites..THE BITE IS NOT THE MASKS OR OUTFITS OR EVEN SONG SELECTIONS. i think it's in the actual characters that they sometimes play. (just my opinion)

iono this doesnt seem like biting to me , ne body can use masks and gloves if they want to i suppose ya know. I would argue that it comes down to choreography , which doesnt look ne thing like jabba as long as he is doing his own choreo i think people are making this a bigger issue than it really is

and since their music choices were so similar to what's become a trademark of the jabbawockees it made the similarities between the choreographic choices seem blatantly obvious. if you were to compare this set to the jabbawockees piece by piece there were just too many "coincidental" similarities to ignore. so i definitely understand why so many people see this as something of a diss.

you can't bite style. style is interchangeable and fluid. however you can bite actual choreographic choices (the intro done to simplicated syncopated beats. the solo done to an instrumental piano track with a spotlight overhead. the white masks with the white gloves with the black hoodies and sweats).
