That aside, I have a very random question: At 1:38, there's a nice scene where Kira reaches over and grabs Odo's hand, then after she gets up and leaves Odo can't help but stare at his hand in wonder. Does anyone know what episode this is from? VERY random question I know, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Thanks.

@Miracle490d It's from Meridian (3x8). Most of the episode was about Dax and some weirdo, and the rest was Quark trying to make a holoprogram of Kira. It did not end well. Not exactly In The Pale Moonlight, but still hilarious.

Hey I just remembered if Kira never went to Holosuites before her dates with Odo and it took the accident for Vic to get her Russian image, whys she meditating in a Holosuite for Vic to transfer himself and make a date for Odo? Why wasn't she in the temple? Vic is a favorites for getting in lives. Did Doc's Holo emitter ever let him out?

That does happen in the DS9 relaunch books actually ('Unity') - or rather, they're reunited temporarily, with a view for him coming back for good. Softens the blow slightly... :-)

They're pretty good actually - I certainly prefer them to the older, numbered series. The ones by S.D. Perry in particular are excellent. If you like Odo and Kira, in the DS9 Worlds 'Dominion' book, the infamous 'closet scene'from 'You Are Cordially Invited' is discussed.

Hi, thanks for the nice comments! I don't think their relationship is discussed properly in the old numbered series of books, although I haven't read all of them. However, it is alluded to a lot in the more recent 're-launch' series (set after 'What You Leave Behind' when Kira is left in charge).

If you haven't read any of them, I would definitely recommend starting with 'Avatar' 1 and 2 by S.D. Perry, as there are some nice snippets about Odo and Kira. 'Rising Son' and 'Unity', plus the 'Worlds of DS9 -- Dominion' and 'Warpath' by David Mack are also good.

I read Unity. I was an awesome book. I didn't read the "mission gamma" series before reading Unity so I need to get caught up. Have you read the Enterprise relaunch novels? Are they any good?

@northernstar24 I read what you wrote about DS9 books. I never read any star trek books either, but the DS9 series is my favorite. But I want to know about all the characters not just Odo and Kira. I loved Julian. It's sad Miles goes to earth. Everyones splitting up at the end. Do they get to reunite & keep in touch? Who takes over Cardassia since Damar dies in the last battle? Is Garak still shun? Does the new ruler appreciate him, Bajorians, or Starfleet for their help, like Damar would've?

@northernstar24 ...There's a lot I'd like to read about, since dumb movie makers want to raise Kirk from the dead (beat a dead horse) with alternate crap instead of continuing with the DS9/Voyager/Next Gen Mix. They've all intermingled. Everyone wants more. I'll just forget the theaters & read if that's where the good stories are. Which are the best ones to start where DS9 left off? I hope there's not so many its impossible to keep order & read them all. if authors change, are some inconsistant?

Great video! Absolutely Fabulous! You know, they show videos like this every year at the Creation Entertainment Las Vegas Star Trek Convention. In fact its more of a contest, really.  The videos are shown to the audience who then vote on the one they like the best or the best is picked by a panel of judges. Whatever video is picked the creator wins a prize of some sort. You should really think about bringing it one year and entering it.
