My "Moral Barometer" is based off of respect. Respect for others and respect for myeslf. You don't have to be a christian to know how you like to be treated and deduce that if you treat others in that light than nine times out of ten it will come back to you. If you treat someone disrespectfully than you can pretty much guarantee that will come back to you as well.

This seeming paradox is easy to explain. Christianity is an entrenched part of Steve Harvey's culture. The seeds of this entrenchment were rooted back in the times of slavery. The ancestors of most blacks in the USA were viciously enslaved with an excessively harsh life. Christianity gives the hope of a better life in heaven. It might be wishful thinking, but if a group of people are brutalized during their lifetime (in actual fact!),
it's not necessarily unreasonable for them to hope for a better life after this "throw away life". That's why Christianity has historically been, and is even to this day, an entrenched part of black culture. It's takes a hell of a lot of time/education to break the foundation of such a thoroughly entrenched culture. Steve Harvey is basically an "enslaved" subcomponent of this culture, but doesn't realize it. Hopefully this aspect of black culture will dissipate with time?

It's disgusting and ugly to me that a people who fought so hard to free their race would so easily submit to a church that shared the values they so strenuously fought against. Insofar as the dinosaur bones are concerned, dinosaurs don't necessarily conflict with religious belief. Many religious people simply argue that dinosaurs existed when man was around and are somehow no longer in existence. Of course, that's really, really stupid because if true, how in hell would we not possess written histories (worldwide) from thousands of years ago of such great beings - and in great detail. There are no such written accounts - not even in cave drawings!

As such, even in the absence of all the numerous dating techniques that are currently available, the OBVIOUS conclusion to draw would be that the previously living beings (dinosaurs) represented by these fossils had to exist before us human beings!

FYI Buddhism,Jainism,Taoism and Confucianism don't really believe in a God but trust me they have tons loads of morality in them. They were the earliest secular humanist systems.

That's why Christianity has historically been, and is even to this day, an entrenched part of black culture. Insofar as the dinosaur bones are concerned, dinosaurs don't necessarily conflict with religious belief. Many religious people simply argue that dinosaurs existed when man was around and are somehow no longer in existence. Of course, that's really, really stupid because if true, how in hell would we not possess written histories (worldwide) from thousands of years ago of such great beings - and in great detail. There are no such written accounts - not even in cave drawings!

FYI Buddhism,Jainism,Taoism and Confucianism don't really believe in a God but trust me they have tons loads of morality in them. They were the earliest secular humanist systems.

However, as far as I've read in the bible, Satan never wiped out any villages, or babies, or pregnant women, also no animal sacrifices either.
Although the christians do state that Satanism practices animal sacrifices, there is no proof of that happening at all, it is a biblical practice ordered by YaHWeH.

Also jesus stated that not one jot, or tittle would be removed from the law.
A jot and tittle are used as pronunciation marks, so even the way one would say the words of the law were not done away with, let alone the law itself!

Let’s face facts here: there’s a lot of crap in the Bible. Much of it is little more than the scribblings of superstitious fools who thought that thunder and lightning were the wrath of God, and that the universe was created in six days.
In Gen.there are dozens of contradictions that are nonsense,and shouldn't be taken literally. There are millions, yes, that’s millions that actually take the Bible literally, which might explain the rationale behind certain types of criminal behavior.

The Bible supports everything from sexism and child abuse to rape and mass genocide. Needless to say, this is not a book you want your children to read. Exodus 21:7-10 says men can sell their daughters into slavery

All of the mental hospitals I've visited are LOADED with christians.

God commanded the Israelite's to go into a village to kill all the men, women, and children, (god IS an ethnic cleanser isn't he)!..however, when they came to killing an infant, instead of using the sword to kill the little baby, they were to smash the baby's head onto the ground/stones.
Picture this: to kill the little babies, they literally had to pick the baby up by the leg, and smash it's head on the ground!

Some of the contradictions in the bible: Is lying okay? Exodus 20:16. Proverbs 12:22 & Revelations 21:8 all say lying is forbidden. Joshua 2:3-6, Exodus 1:18-20 & 1 Kings 22:21-23 all support lying.
