Why is everybody complaining about the graphics. They are AMAZING!. There is so much more variety of things now. instead of the same enemies the art design made it easier for the producers to make every enemy different. On a side not if anyone has noticed, Windwaker graphics don't age unlike Twilight Princess' graphics which look like crap now.
I prefer hi fidelity graphics over realistic graphics on a console with the power of a microwave.

@LinkOfZoras I personally don't have a problem with them. I despised Wind Waker's though, that wasn't how zelda is supposed to look. As for my beef with this game, It looks like shit...Zelda is a game you're supposed to be able to sit back and play, and you played it for it's storyline and puzzles. Now you have to stand up and swing your arm around, and i don't know about you but im not going to enjoy it :(

@TheRoyalFirebird What you're saying is incorrect. Pressing a B button over and over? Is that the way to play a sword game? No, it's not. Using Wii Motion Plus allows you to basically make it feel like you really have a real sword in your hands. When you swing your sword from the right to the left, it's what Link does. When you swing vertically, Link does the same. You're just saying that you're lazy and that you want to press a button rather than real, full controls as if you were fighting.
And at the same time, graphics are not for the common gamer. It's for the real gameplay. Have you looked at the past trailers? SS actually has a little bit more detail, considering it uses less 2D simulations. The past trailers make the game look amazing. I don't think you are a Zelda fan...
I love the graphics! But I Love Zelda and Link and their adventures! The colors in Skyward sword look a little less gloomy than twilight princess...which seemed dark to me but still awesome!!! can't wait can't wait can't wait!!!

TP had realistic graphics because it had a darker tone, this one on the other hand seems much less so. @jareds1007the producer the said skyward sword's development is 100%complete and the english language version is done, the game just has to be localized in foreign languages then it will be ready to be shipped worldwide. Nintendo could easily have the game ready for sale by september but will hold it back to the holiday season to maximize sales.

And at the same time, graphics are not for the common gamer. It's for the real gameplay. Have you looked at the past trailers? SS actually has a little bit more detail, considering it uses less 2D simulations. The past trailers make the game look amazing. I don't think you are a Zelda fan...

I love the graphics! But I Love Zelda and Link and their adventures! The colors in Skyward sword look a little less gloomy than twilight princess...which seemed dark to me but still awesome!!! can't wait can't wait can't wait!!!

@Gmister2 they will always have more because if you hadnt realized this, ganondorf zelda and link are all trapped in a never ending cycle of reincarnating and doing the same thing over and over again. there will def be more. (at least i hope and pray anyways (: )

@samster817 By Realistic you mean brown and washed out right? Besides the graphics in a Zelda game usually reflect its story. TP had realistic graphics because it had a darker tone, this one on the other hand seems much less so. I personally like the graphics better than TP because... c'mon just look at it it looks fucking beautiful!

You know what, I was kinda upset of the graphics for the OoT 3ds remake, but now I played through that and on the Master Quest... I could care more about a shit than the graphics. this game looks really interesting. P.S. I think I tricked my little cousin to buy it so I can try it out when it comes out.

@jareds1007the producer the said skyward sword's development is 100%complete and the english language version is done, the game just has to be localized in foreign languages then it will be ready to be shipped worldwide. Nintendo could easily have the game ready for sale by september but will hold it back to the holiday season to maximize sales.

dude zelda isnt about dark grity graphics. zelda has alway been a colorfull series since the first game. only 3 games have used real listic graphics. color dose not equal childishness.i mean look at wind waker storywise its one of the darkest games in the series .if you want grity graphics go play all 50 of the call of dutys or the new DMC.im not trying to be mean im just saying give the damn game a chance and be a real zelda fan.

@averageblackreviews i know that most of the zelda games look like cartoons but that doesnt mean that they all hav to be that way, good graphics makes the game feel much more real to the person whos playing it, and in turn makes you more attached to it. so wen you play a game with realistic graphics it feels more realistic to u. what im trying to say is if you hav and opportunity to makea game more realistic and mind boggling then why would you choose to make it a low quality cartoon graphics.

i think that if a game has realistic graphics its story and character should match its style.thats why the final fantasy series has turned me off.because they have these beatifull realistic graphics but these comepletely far out stories that dont match the style.to that series was beter of colorfull but then ff7 had to be made. to me twighlight princess is like the ff7 of the zelda series. meaning its overhyped and deserves almost none of its praise.(cue fanboys)

@HirariMachi Because they have'nt made GCN games in almost 5 years now nor do they sell them brand new anymore lol. i do wish this game had Classic Contoller and GCN controller support in addition to the Nunchuck/Wiimote combo though :(.

what is this obsession with graphics??? i don't understand, if im not mistaken all the games we grew up on were just as colorful as this so i don't understand why that's an issue all of a sudden. why does everything have too look so realistic to ppl that's what a game is especially zelda its FANTASY it can look whichever way it wants.
