Thank you to Dena for telling her story, she is very inspiring and courageous. I was so outraged to hear that she was run over by a truck, especially when it seems like it was on purpose. I will think of her next time that I question whether I should wear hijab because of haters and other ignorant people like that. Dena sets a proud, courageous example for all Muslimahs living in Western societies that have to deal with harrassment for wearing hijab.
