Beautiful photos! This is really is one of the main reason's I cache... for the opportunity to see places I would never have otherwise... and to get fantastic pics! Thanks for shareing~
@MisterDonBennett Sometimes these values have to be taught, don't they. One father wrote to tell me before seeing this video his son would always say something like, "Are we there yet" when they were traveling. The trip after seeing this video he actually asked if they could stay a little long and explore. What a change. :-)
Thanks for the invite to view and comment on your video, Sam. Very well done. I, too, agree that the best part is getting there and back, and most times BEING there!
@ssphoto1 I really like it when cache hiders (RVers can't create caches unless we can prove that a 'local' will maintain it for us when we are on the road) make us go to or through beautiful places. That's only one reason I made this video. Hopefully others will find the beauty going to and coming back from each and every hide. Those are the ones I like.
I heard this on podcacher. What a great piece of prose. It reminded me of Garrison Keillor's news from Lake Wobagon. I want to hear more. Blessings, mayberryman.
Tnx joinh1 for the positive comments. This 'production' was years in the making. When I found Scobie10's essay, it made it much easier to assembly the complete video.
K0VLJ, thanks for emailing me the link! My own G'rents took my brother and I on cross-country trips during teen-hood, always insisting that I put the book down and actually look out the window.
Those exhortations made more sense once I started driving the same roads myself, with my family. 73, kb0nnd Mike
How in the world did you even find this video? There isn't (yet) a link from caching headquarter. Glad you liked it. I had been showing it 'live' to local audiences for a while and have had good comments, so I decided to see if Ground Control would post the link to this on their site. They only approve 'outside' videos if they can be reviewed on YouTube. So, I learned how to do that. Thanks for your positive comment.
Thanks Sterling. Now I have to learn how to use my new video camcorder and try a different subject.

@angelcacher If we ever when caching together our 'find count' wouldn't be so high, would it? We'd have good photos and memories though. ;-)

"My sanctuary, my church..." I feel the same way. Great slide show with a heart-felt voiceover. Just how I like it!
