i flew in here from italy and i didnt know that we had to cross this bridge but i saw the escalator and was like, holy shit this airport is HUGE but i soon realized that it was just the bridge and was taken away by the view of all the planes and everything else

It goes from the main North Terminal over the run way to 13 new gates in the middle of the airfield.

Not over the runway, it goes over the taxiway from the North Terminal, to pier 6, and is high enough to accomodate a 747 to pass underneath and offers some spectacular views.
