  • "metal shifts on wood, shooshy ripe bass'?

  • excellent cover!

  • you are the rem covers master, great song.

  • Uhm yes...............................

  • You do a great job with the songs, man.

This music is important to me - and with you - they're in good hands.

  • one of REM`s best ... nice job on a difficult song man ..... and yeah ..RIP to your cat as well

  • Thoroughly enjoyed this mate. =]

  • Walking to class with the headphones in listening the Harbourcoat. Good times. Top 5 REM songs

  • Absolutely perfect cover, this made me learn the song. Great job!

  • That is awesome..Makes my version sound like $hit

  • Actually: I have always played it detuned a halfstep. It's much easier that way.

  • There's nothing like the sound of a Rickenbacker! Nice job.

  • Amazing cover, great job!

Can you tell me how do you get so nice clear bass sound even with distortion? What effect and what AMP are you using? I've been trying to get my stratocaster to sound like that and I can't.

  • Do you use tabs or learn by ear?

  • Love the song. And especially love the Ric man. I love Rics with a burning passion and of course Peter Buck is a user as well. Your a great perfomer

  • Great job! Sounds awesome!

  • i clicked into this by accident, very good

  • holy crap, that was great!

    Ty

  • you're pretty good, yes you are

    this is your best, imho

  • Very good job !

  • Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb tuning?

  • This is in standard tuning.

  • @ZRN959 Yes. It seems that the original is 1/2 step down, but all live performances have standard tuning...so take your pick.

  • Great song and great rendition

  • Sorry to nitpick, you're obviously as into REM as I am and I know I like to be accurate as possible. Especially since their sound is so muddy it can be hard to figure out what they're playing.

  • Nice job, this is one of my all time favorite R.E.M. tunes. That second chord on the chorus always eluded me, I played a G#m for years but it never sounded right. Try this instead: In open position, play the top 4 strings: E flat, A flat, C# and F#. I think you'll find it 'fits' better and you just have to move one finger up the hit the open A chord. Use F# minor and G# minor only, neither one of them are major.

  • Is that the same Rick Peter has?

  • dude, drop everything else, write music now

  • Simply amazing. Inspiring for guitar amateurs like me.

  • Awesome - a really really good cover of my favourite R.E.M. song.

    For You Dyzio RIP

  • Jesteś w tym naprawdę świetny. A Ricka zazdroszczę Ci jak cholera. Pozdrawiam z Wrocławia ;]

  • Great job, thanx. keep going..

  • You do a great job on this! Thanks for sharing. I sympathize on the loss of your pet. That never gets any easier, but time and good memories help.

  • Great cover dude, you have real talent. Sorry For your cat though, i know how that goes.. We put mine down a few weeks ago.. Good Job though.

  • great job. very nice tribute

  • I wish I have your guitar for playing REM songs!!

    Very good!

  • Here's a dedicated fan. A great idea and good performance. Also love your tribute to your cat Dyzio.

  • I'm so sorry about your cat. The song is nicely done.

  • Nice! and r.i.p. Dyzio...

  • another great video... sorry to hear about your cat.

  • Since I am the first viewer I will comment on this vid. It's alright ;)

btw, I happen to have known Dyzio the cat.

It was a good cat Peter, may he rest in peace.
