The flower children at the D&G show were a perky lot, in their long floral dresses or romper shorts with rosebud tops.

But there was no lolling about on the lawn, plucking the daisies. These young women were serious about the garden that flourished in beds of blooms as the backdrop. Their bags were filled with trowels, rakes and digging tools and some models even gave up their platform shoes (decorated with flowers, of course) for rubber boots.
