@ADdadirector personal preference - plus T&E's work cannot very well be categorized meaning that it hits many borders of comedy attracting a wide variety of people while still maintaining a highly distinguishable style of it's own which (for having existed for more than 5 seasons) can now be recognized immediately to the trained eye. the simpler way of doing this is telling you that if you dont get it, dont watch it. there's much worse things you could be complaining about.

Though on occasion when I'm looking at a piece I don't understand what the artist was trying to achieve which is the case here. See i can agree with that, all of the cast members have a history of being in hilarious skits and sketches from film and TV which made watching this show confusing. @ADdadirector The show is unique, but the approach isn't necessarily new. If I had to guess I would say that T&E is greatly influenced by Peewee's Playhouse.

I don't mean to say that conventional comedy is bad, it's just contains a handful of approaches to humor and it's the type of humor that we're conditioned to recognize. These shows are innovative in the sense that they have a different approach to comedy that deviates from the standards.
