I agree.  I love Marc's interpretation of the songs but I am not Latina. Hector's music wasn't played at my house when I was growing up which seems to be the case for many people who compare Marc to Hector.

I just enjoy the songs and find Marc's voice incredible, pure magic. By the way, I also liked the movie although I am not a JLo fan. Marc did a great job!

But there also is no another artist who could make them better these songs by Marc Anthony. Tienes mucha razon. Esto es claro - nadie es mejor que Hector para interpretar este repertorio. SI, le falta el sentimiento del barrio, y el viejo sonido de sonero. Pero Marc tiene una voz increíble y una técnica vocal impecable y un gran respeto por Héctor para que sean la mejor manera posible.
