That was terrible im sorry. For One it took like 10 to 11 seconds to get to 60 and 120 HP is very sucky for a truck im sorry. Also a little FYI the engine in your so called Toyota is an American one. Most all Toyota's made here in America use american parts. LOL. So basically nothing is to Japanese about it.

You should see what a 22re is like with 36" Swamper Iroks! I rarely drive on the street anymore, but when I do, I leave the forward t-case in low, rear t-case in high, otherwise you have to ride the clutch a bit just to keep it running! Lol. I'll take the 22re over any other engine for dependability, though. Funny vid.... two thumbs up!

Anyway, the dual 'cases are probably the best mod on the truck, even the 36" Iroks and the solid axle swap. You can see vids of it all over my channel. Less than $1000 spent on the t-cases, doubler kit, and 4.7:1 crawler gears for the rear case. Not real hard to do, just time consuming!

Engines are fucken bomb proof and reliable as hell. Only that they lack power. It still gets you where ever the hell your going, but it will just take you a bit longer. And, if there's a mountain (steep incline), it's just going to set you back another hour or so. BUT STILL, 22RE FTW!!!

nice truck. I got a 90 Xtra Cab V6 auto 4wd, a little quicker than yours, but not by much (4wd makes it a lot heavier haha). I hear ya on the sport shifting. the auto's in these trucks leaves something to be desired.

my old 90 standard cab dlx 22re 5 speed 4wd was def. slower than yours though haha. dunno about my 89, never got it running lol.
