it was stock when i did this vid after that i put a pod filter directly onto the throttle body,removed inlet restrictor,80mm v8 throttle body, hi-stall converter,10mm leads,chipped comp,and mini spooled diff,pacemaker extractors & 2in mandrel pipe!!! it went so hard but sorry no vids!!!!!!!!
We owned a VB 202 for around 10 years, Best car we had never broke down on us.. My dream was a V6 into it.. But after that failed and i finally bought a V6 VP..
But was shocked i always thought the VB would be lighter by a bit over the VN-VP cars, Was shocked to know they weren't lighter if lighter at all.
they r lighter by heaps the vh weighs 1080kgs and the vp(cause i own 1 now!) weighs 1400kgs Plus the v6 weighs less than the straight 6 by 130 kgs cuase 1 is cast iron and the other is alloy making the vh weigh under the ton which makes the vh very fast on take off
i raced against my brothers 14 grand vl turbo it was stock but i blew him away!!!! and my other brothers vs5000 i absolutely killed it but i think his motor needed a rebuild lol
mate the v6 came out with 125kw on s1, 127kw on s2 vn-vp and a little more on the vrs. but who gives a fuck when they can a nice burnout like that!! i reckon there one of the tuffest engines goin, you just cant fault them... nice work btw
WELL!!! the standard 202 puts out a wimpy 72 kw the 253 a borin 122kw the 308 139kw and the standard v6 135kw but remember this is based on what they came out with not including mods! mine with a few minor mods put out 148kw on the dyno not bad for a 83 car!!!
Ha. my friend has exactly the same car. its a piece of crap. he bought it for 200$ and it goes through distributors and alternators quicker than a tank of fuel. thank god he crashed it the other day.
its a shame he didn't know what he was doing! i drove tha car for five years without a hitch thrashin the shit out of it and i reakon it went as hard as the day i built it!!
