i was at the game.. pretty sweet. we got lucky with our 2nd goal.. bergeron just picked his pocket and put it in weak side. i also def think datsyuk is the best in the world.no doubt. he causes turnovers, dangles, assists, snipes, grinds.. the ideal player. plus he doesnt even have that much of a strong line to work with. hahah when segs didnt score and we saw datsyuk come out next... my friends were like "game over. leave now. beat the crowd."

Love the Wings, and i live in New Hampshire haha, but anyways why was Zetterberg on the second line and not the first and why wasnt he even in the first 3 for the shootout?

I am a Bruins fan ans just wanted to say that think the Red Wings are a class act, from the coaches to the players top notch, I will never go for any other team than the B's but man Detroit is something else!! Go B's!!

Jimmy was sooo damn good this game. 41 saves?  A tribute to the Bruins' crazy good forecheck. Jimmy definitely deserves the rest tomorrow night against the Preds.

100% agreed. Even though he did have a brain fart that lead to Bruins first goal, other than that he was stellar.

I would blame that on Ericsson; he failed to tell Jimmy to throw the puck the other way. Ericsson saw the Bruin forecheck and had a frozen mouth.

Anyway, Jimmy's in net for the Wings against the Preds tonight. Maybe the Wings'll score ten goals and give up none so when the third period starts, Uncle Mike can unleash his Conkblock to finish the game.

Yeah that's true, although Jimmy should consider the source and think for himself on that play LOL. Really wish Bab's would wake up send down/scratch Ericsson bring Smith up so we can have a real defense-men with Kindol. Or even put Ericsson as a forward, I've noticed when he's rushed the puck in, he's much more better as a forward than a defense-men.

Hahaha not likely! But tonight's game should be an interesting one. Why the hell hasn't MacDonald been given a chance?? *Sigh*

I gave up trying to understand the CBA rules regarding under-26 signings. I know for sure that both Emmerton and B.Smith are out of options: they can't be sent down without first clearing waivers. After that, I get all cross-eyed trying to make sense of the CBA.

I thought JMac was incredible in his time with the Wings a couple of years ago. He was great but it was a glut of goalies in the summer of '11 looking for jobs and he couldn't sign with anyone. Wings are stacked with future goalies.
