This really broke my heart, school should be a safe zone for kids and it has the exact opposite effect. And this low, sick behavior should not come from any student, and especially not from a teacher. Thanks for sharing your story, Jesus. This may be something I show the group I'm going to lead at school to start a more welcoming atmosphere for the LGBTQ community.
So is fisting all that it hyped up to be? I will be buying stocks in the company that sell Depends. I can see a rise in the use of this product. I will be set later... just speculating on a potential future bonanza.
I am calling you out. I am pretty sure that you are lying about the field trip story... I know a little about body language and yours called you out... You really need to get over the pity poor me, it does not look good on you.
Thank you everyone for the comments. This is Jesus. Unfortunately there is alot of ignorance agains't the LGBT Community. Recently Jaheem Hererra from Georgia committed suicide after being bullied for being "feminine". He was not gay and his parents complained 8 times to the school board and nothing was done. Next Monday August 10th on Univision channel I will be on the Cristina Show to speak about being bullied. Check your listings for times
WHAT!?!? I think that all homophobic teachers need to be fired, because I think that all LGBT students should feel safe, if not with their peers, at least with their teachers. I'm participating in the National Day of Silence, but it won't be as powerful because they picked today as a Professional Development Day, so I'm out of school.
I meant to say "I think that all students should feel safe, if not with their peers, at least with their teachers." But seriously, I feel bad for Jesus because I have plenty of friends at my school (I'm just not the "popular" one).
Yea, I understand what you're saying. But I think that in cases such as when Jesus was denied going on the field trip, it should have been reported and the teacher fired. If that didn't work, I would probably take it to court. I don't have a problem with the ones who aren't vocal about it, though.
School should be a don't ask don't tell place. Teachers shouldn't have to tolerate disruptive behaviors in the classroom like they will encounter with the National Day of Silence, and likewise, a National Day of Silence should not be required to give LGBT students safety at schools.
Teachers by all means should strive to promote a safe and healthy learning environment, but if they believe homosexuality is wrong, it has nothing to do with whether the school should or should not retain them.
I'm really sorry for what you had to go through. I go through the same thing with strudents, not teachers. Except they've never hit me... You are amazing for sharing this with the world and thank you. I have been silenced today and will stay silenced for the rest of Day of Silence...
I just can't stand to see this kind of shit that goes on in the school system. I am straight, so I have never had to deal with anti LGBT, but I have been bullied for being Mixed . no one should have to put up with being harassed in their own school. especially by a teacher. it is their job to teach you what your education state requirements are, and nothing else. I am going to silence the hell out of April 17th.
You are amazing, (and hella attractive) I hope everything goes better for you :3
I've had similar experiences...some days I just can't find it in me to leave my house. How did you deal with this? I mean kids and adults can be so cruel...and I don't know why.
PS: I went through the thing when I had people throw stuff at me. My sister & I had people throw stuff at us because of our sexual orientation. No one would sit with us because they thought "we were going to touch them inappropriately." And seeing this video really makes you an amazing person. It really does. <3
I'm sorry for what you went through. I didn't have problems with teachers saying ignorant slurs like that to me, just students. And it hurts, it really does. But we all have to be strong when it comes to this. STAY STRONG. :)

Firing all homphobic teachers would be wrong. Depends on how they use it in the classroom, or if they do at all.
