@ProfCantonius The answer has to do with money, be protecting copyright of developers. Moreover, since the problem with copyright is global is allows U.S. government shut them down. The big mistake was Megaupload was paying people and in away selling the illegal copy of media.

@kon007nic well yes there will be negative effects but I think we should embrace them and enjoy the far more large positive effects it will offer, I think by then cyber security would have advanced at a rate quicker than hackers & computer viruses did because cyber security has governments and billions of $/€/£ behind it and yet these viruses have a lot less finance supporting it. Maybe I'm wrong but eitherway I understand your point.

Fun fact: After the connections where figured out by scientest. They where able to use phone lines because they used radio waves. Like i said before, radio's where considered computers for 1-2 years and than changed. Later discovering that computers could now use radio waves to connect to the internet.
