  • Really enjoy the audio capture of the atc for this video on landing.

  • where was you coming from?

  • Couldn't get it what was your flight number?

  • the music playing behind, could you please let me know the musician please..

  • Sounds like you had a female captain and male FO, since the captain took over the controls for taxi in and the FO started making the radio calls...

    Nice addition with the ATC!

  • best

  • excellent job on the video, love it!

  • Love it!

  • woman pilot!! awesome

  • Great video, thanks for sharing.

  • This video left out the most interesting part of the flight...taxiing on busy taxiways at Chicago. No kidding, that's the most stressful part of the flight for arriving pilots. Listen in some time, you'll see. If you were in the cockpit with them you'd see them shifting nervously in their seats and getting their pen and note paper ready. Turning up the volume on the radio. It's hairy out there.

  • Why the visual approach?

  • sorry wrong video

  • @oktal3700 from the rate of descent, I'm guessing this was the ILS 28, not the visual

  • @ctroeger yeah sorry, that comment was intended for a different video

  • I love seeing this airport after 15 hours of fly time when visiting back home!!

  • what seat are you in?

    beautiful view!

  • when was this flight

  • how did you manage to get the atc?? do United provide it OnBoard?

  • @omnia762 That's correct. United offers ATC audio on Channel 9. If you forget your flight number, don't worry, because your aircraft will almost always sound clearer than the others on frequency. When you hear frequency changes, the flight number that changed frequencies is YOURs. It becomes apparent after one or two frequency changes.

  • where were u coming from?

  • @MyPilot747 arriving from Los Angeles

  • this captain flew me JFK - LAX last summer. very nice captain

  • Why did the tower keep assigning Mercury new headings?

  • @BigSam3788 vectors for traffic I assume

  • @jjouney dont u just love how it looks above the clouds during winter?

  • @jjouney what camera where u using?

  • @BigSam3788 Giving headings because it is IFR and landing runways to the west, you have to protect for missed approaches using airspace and altitude

  • Just wonder where did you get ATC recordings from?

  • nice editing mate.

    keep it up, greets, dom

  • Very smooth touchdown.

  • well done! i would have got you on the ground faster though!

  • @krsi3 No... sorry I do not allow that. I do appreciate your asking tho, as I've encountered others who are not as courteous.

  • @jjouney oh ok that no problem is hard find good atc audio to use in videos

  • @krsi3 if you havent already, check out LiveATC.net. There are many live feeds and archived recordings as well

  • @jjouney i listen but when i go to download it dont

  • what airlines is the mercury callsign? also, why must they ask the mercury to announce their altitude? doesn't the tower radar or the planes transponder already display their flight level?

  • @KuostA the "mercury" call-sign belongs to Shuttle America (United Express). I'm not sure why tower was asking for "altitude leaving", I was wondering that myself.. maybe radar was inop.

  • great vid i love united airlines and flying into KORD

  • really great video mate!

  • Keep these coming! Amazing!

  • @rodgerjohnson Thanks, More uploads are coming

  • AWSOME video!
